Hi everyone. Have just had a camgirl ban me from her room (won't mention the site) and her OF.

I had found her a couple of days ago, and had been engaging with her for a couple of hours in her room prior to the ban. Some of my questions to her could have been seen as pushing the boundaries (nothing offensive, and she brought up the boundary-pushing subject matter first), but she responded to all my questions and gave no indication she was uncomfortable (despite me asking multiple times if she was ok with it).

Most concerning is the circumstances of the ban,she asked for a selfie, I sent it, she responded positively, then immediately banned me (I quickly deleted the selfie from the chat, so hopefully no issue there).

I appreciate camgirls have the right to protect themselves, but is this really the right way to go about a ban?

Being able to ban someone at any time is one of the unique things about online sex work. You probably didn't offend her in any life-changing way, but she reserves her right to ban you even if you've done nothing at all, and that's just part of it lol.

It’s quite possible you did nothing much wrong beyond just not tipping enough for the time spent talking, especially if you were engaging for hours. Sometimes we simply block people who are preventing us from being on our sales game and it’s honestly nothing personal. Obviously I have no way of knowing but models can block people for absolutely no logical reason, because our feelings affect our work a lot.

I've banned people for their user name alone. I've definitely banned people for taking up my time and not paying me.
Yes, I was going to mention about usernames but figured I was verbose enough and the reasons could be anything. Maybe she recognized your selfie, if you wanna feel paranoid about it. It’s extremely unlikely but honestly none of us have a crystal ball and you are unlikely to ever know. If you think it was something you did, just consider it since you mentioned asking personal questions that may push boundaries in addition to talking for hours. Err on the side of being respectful, paying appropriately including for conversation/non-explicit chat, and not taking things so seriously that you worry overly.

I too have banned people for offensive or political usernames.

I agree that OP is probably overly worried or concerned about how things played out. Provided it's not permanent, I suppose he could ask her in 31 days.

I remember one guy telling me he only followed me because I wear pantyhose every once in a blue moon but he had never tipped me for it. He said I "ban for no reason."

Telling me something I do and is the only reason you follow me and then don't pay me? That is most definitely a reason to ban.

My tolerance is very low because I don't want my great tippers to see me wasting time on someone who might pay me in the future. I think most of us have the same general attitude. If we give away our time for free, why do they have to tip?

And to the OP -- five tokens here or there over several or a few hours is exhausting. Mentally.

Action tips (show boobs, butt, blow kiss) change the thumbnail for the model and more eyes means a better night.

Nothing is more depressing than one dude talking your face off while saying he doesn't want to see your tits but wants to know "the kind of person he's tipping."

You're tipping a cam model. That's who. We're there for three things -- money, it fits our personality/lifestyle, money.
