Being impersonated by a malicious user

I wrote two emails last month to CB Support (dated May 3 and May 12, respectively) reporting that a user has been impersonating me on CB using multiple accounts. I am hoping you can tell me if my emails are still being looked at, please and thank you.

I just wanted to let y’all know, this individual, the OP, false flags peoples model accounts and files fake reports, I recognize the username, don’t take anything he says seriously. He has been trolling my model friend now for four years, trying to get their accounts banned. I don’t mean to jack this thread, but, seeing that this individual is doing negative stuff, thought I would call it out. I hope you’ll let my post go live, so people know what he’s up to. This is obviously the person -- Pigley -- about whom the reports to CB that I noted in my original post are about.

He's a reliable app developer on CB. I think you have the wrong guy, or may be dealing with the imposter he's referring to.

This is the response I received and it is completely false information:

We suggest contacting the app developer. Apps and Bots are developed with open source code by our user community. We do not directly manage or maintain them. You can comment on the app or bot to let the developer know there is an issue at https://chaturbate.com/apps by selecting the app or bot and adding a comment at the bottom of the page.

My concern is about the person's behaviour; anything to do with apps is secondary.

To note, though: Developing apps with open source is a choice that developers have; it is not required. I hope the support staff will update their understanding of how apps work.

Seriously @punker barbie? That's the best support can do? Responding with canned response that is not even relevant to the user's complaint. You guys need to do better. Head over to the StripChat section to see how it should be done; their reps here have been awesome. Hell, I, @KingMarti, and likely a few other users, can set up an LLM bot for you that would do a much better job than that. At least an LLM would be on topic.

And please don't have your auto-bot reply to me telling me to write to support@chaturbate.com for assistance with my account...

They’ve probably got a shed-load of tickets to process - thousands.

Punker Barbie used to be Shirley from CB and she was good, but yes, now it is just some person that drew the short straw that day and they simply copy/paste the same thing to every thread. Even if support has 1000's of tickets to deal with what is the point if they're just going to send out unrelated canned responses? I've worked in customer/tech support and it doesn't matter how swamped you are, giving out shitty non-answers does not shorten the queue; it makes it worse.

That's so PATHETIC that some loser's gone out of his way to stalk you. He joined this forum Friday night, and then made a beeline for your thread...and posted to try to point the finger at you. Good grief! It's giving me flashbacks of the narcissist I'd dealt with last year.....

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this bullshit, and that you guys over at CB don't seem to have good support anymore. Shirley used to be THE CB support rep. back in the day, and she was awesome!
