I will throw in my hat for Discord as well. It’s a good program and they made a statement on Twitter that it can be used for our purposes.
i'll go ahead and also suggest discord as well, especially since they allow nsfw content as long as it is marked as such!

Discord is a great option. Just be aware that this landscape is always changing and what worked yesterday may not work today. It seems like most will not rock the boat unless they are forced to. They all seem ready to abandon ship if the need arises though.
