Best times to play and Skype? =)

I want to start off first by saying how awesome it is to find this site. I've been searching for "people like me" (lol) for a long time so this is a RELIEF! I've been modeling off and on for 4 years on different sites and finally made SM my home. I LOVE them. Awesome pay, customer service moves fast, can change your min pay at any time, and very easy to block people if need be. I just had 2 questions I'm stumped on.

1. What is this whole skype thing about? Is it really legit/safe to do? Do any of you have legit customers you have long skype sessions with that pay more to your pay pal account? I just don't want to create a whole other Skype account and it be a waste/scam.

2. Is there any "perfect time" to log on? My schedule is pretty open but is there a big difference between day/night? I know that weekends/pay day are the best times to make money but I feel Mon-Thurs just draaag.

You might find it worthwhile to get verified in Models Only. Tons and tons of information posted by some unbelievably competent women.

That being said, I cammed for two years and change over Streamate on various handles and found that the morning crowd EST was where I got in my groove- 8AM to 2PM, then it slowed down for me until evening. Honestly, I think the key is logging on consistently at the same time slot, and spending several hours at a time online. It will improve your placement and show you to the same audience where you can build a bit of a fanbase.

Skype does have its risks, which I will not go into here. I recommend using a VPN and listing ads under CamModelDirectory. I have done many Skype shows from advertising through Reddit and CMD- be aware that you can be burned as an indie camgirl, even if you are taking payment through a reasonably reliable service. Your safest bet is listing through CamModelDirectory or SkyPrivate, which I have never used but imagine some girls on here have.

PayPal has a history of cancelling payments made for adult services. While there are some signs this may be changing, the general recommendation is to avoid them as a payment method whenever possible. I suspect there's much more on this in Models Only.

I agree with this, I have not used Paypal for like 10 years. Their cancellation policy will screw you.
