Hey Guys! I've been a long-time content creator in this sphere of work and I'm trying to write some resources for beginners or people looking to expand. I was wondering if you guys could help me address some points of pressure in our work (or side hustle if that's what this is to you) for me personally this is my full-time job :)
1: What's your greatest frustration with the business aspect of internet sex work like camming, and making content
2: What are your hopes for your future regarding this work? What is your goal?

And everything that lead to it, came out of it and will come out of it in the future. FOSTA/SESTA, censorship, banking discrimination SWers are facing, how we can never feel safe and secure on any platform. It's hard to build a business when you can get deleted from any site at any moment or the site might just stop accepting adult content or lose the way to accept payments and in turn pay you.

Hi love! I've been camming full-time for almost a year now and I still can't get used to the inconsistency of pay. I never feel safe, even when I've had a bunch of good weeks in a row! I know it's always possible that a bad week is coming. I always feel really out of control. I'm hopeful that as my platform grows this will become less of an issue for me, but I've heard from some really popular models that it never really goes away.

Actually, that's the same as owning a business. You're never sure about the pay, you gotta keep working and working and putting in the hours. Treat it like a business. Try to learn every day new things about the domain you're working in. Never be too shy to ask questions, even if they might seem stupid at first. See what other people are doing that's working and see if it fits you. Put money aside for rainy days and never give up hope! And you should be proud that you're trying to make it on your own, instead of just following the heard and doing what other people tell you you should do! I know that might not sound like much advice, but believe me, it works if you keep that in mind.

I think she's aware of that after a year of camming. Sorry, are you a model?

My biggest frustration is men. The rapists. The pedos. The idiots. The manipulators. The mansplainers like TopVCadmin. The ones with no boundries that fall in love. The boundary pushers. The cheapskates. The ones that dehumanize you and the ones that want to tell you they see you as a person and they're so sure they're not like all these other guys. Everyone has a fantasy version of YOU in their head and when you do not match it... they get ugly.

Frustration #2 is specifically the site bans on niche content. I make hypnosis porn and im getting run off every site. This links into the wider political issues with payment processors controlling porn etc.

And sometimes 3rd frustration is budget. I am enjoying making more and more creative videos these days and i would kill for a $15k camera and mic set up and a studio space to shoot in. I have been renting locations for some longer shoots and they're amazing but the outlay in $$$ is ouch!

**if anyone comes in here and mansplains to me why i should not be frustrated with these things and how they are similar to other businesses i will lose my fucking mind**

Hopes for the future: long term residual income. Less and less interaction with clients - ideally hiring out the tasks I dont enjoy.

Eventually using that to transition to building non SW business. After 12 years I need something that I don't have to deal with so much stigma and that my body will handle into the future.
