On MFC the member in the private gets a copy of it; but that's different and its rare they are uploaded. It's mainly "free" cam shows.

Somewhere, someone (or multiple people) literally record every stream going and upload (I think they add some models, not all to their list). Guess they're making a living out of it, otherwise I can't fathom why they'd bother...

All I would say is - if someone doesn't know your cam name they're not going to find you. Yes, there may be hundreds of videos of you on those sites -- but you are amongst the thousands of other girls. You are, literally, hidden by the sheer noise/volume of uploads. They'd have to search for your name (cam name). I'd honestly think Twitter is much more likely to be a way to be found than those show sites.

MFC does record privates and store them in a gallery that the member can access, but only that person can view it while logged into their account. There is still a chance that said member may choose to cap the show or recording (rare, but it has happened).

Honestly, if you know the risks, are able to accept them, and are still interested in giving camming a try, I would recommend doing it. You're doing your research and know what to expect. You know how to minimize risks. You're aware of your comfort level and that you can work with it. If it's still something that you want to do, this is the perfect situation in which to do it.

Disagree, I’d at least say they’re not likely to find you. But videos aren’t restricted to just those cam capping sites; my shitty quality, unimpressive videos wind up on tube sites with names like “slutty BBW slut” or “Latina lesbian teen” (I am none of those things). Even if you just show a nipple once in a while, or do fetish, it can still get uploaded. I found a fetish video of mine on YouTube, without my name.

Well, there's no such thing as "categorically will not", but I do think (even on the crappy tube sites) that the chances of being busted are very slim when those vids/shows are amongst the huge amount being uploaded. It's like noticing someone in a crowd... unlikely to get directly spotted.

I'm not trying to scare you or be a dick, but I'm not sure there's much objective difference between having your clothed shows on the internet and your pussy on the internet. Cam recordings get posted online as "porn," so if someone sees it, it doesn't matter that they haven't seen your pussy, they'll just see that you performed on a porn site and assume you did porn. In terms of repercussions, you will probably have the same stigma regardless of what "level" of porn you did on a known "porn site." The general public still doesn't distinguish between camming and porn. Most people don't know that non-nude exists, and won't give you the benefit of the doubt, whether or not they actually see your clothes come off. They'll just see a girl in a video recorded from a porn site, and label you a porn actress.

Now, if you're just squicked out by the idea of a family member accidentally stumbling across images of your pussy, not showing it will definitely eliminate that problem.

This isn't to imply that you shouldn't cam or be non-nude. There's a ton of content out there, and the chances that the wrong person will randomly stumble across your videos is relatively slim. Just don't have any illusions that non-nude camming will necessarily protect you from very much stigma.

Glad it didn't come across poorly! By all means, define your own comfort zone. If this is just a matter of personal preference, show what you want, and cover what you want. I only mention it because there's so much confusion and myth about how you can (and can't) avoid undesirable outcomes, and everyone should go into this with their eyes wide open.

If you're broadcasting on Chaturbate you have the option of disabling the recording.

Settings & Privacy >> Allow Private Show Recordings: NO

But this doesnt stop some users who do 3rd party :/

In general I've done quite a few DMCA's for models acting as a 3rd party between the model & where the content is. This way the the model doesn't give any information out and I'm acting as a 'Representative of the copyright owner' which is always the model.

The advice is that you could continue to do shows, but if you don't wish to be recognised in a recording is either use a mask or not to show face.

Otherwise services like cammodelprotection.com pops up now and again, which is subscription but there is a scheme to get it donated to you by a customer.

Sadly some sites aren't responsive to copyright or dmca takedowns and not much can be done in those cases.
