This is very interesting. Myfreecams isn't in the top 50 but Onlyfans is top 13. Is it any wonder they seem to have dedicated their resources to Onlyfans and neglected MFC?

I don't know why people are assuming that's the case. I don't believe it is.

I don't trust external traffic listings, period. Back when I ran our own physical servers (no cloud, actual hardware) I compared my server stats regularly with some of those sites and even when I had Google Analytics installed the numbers just didn't add up. The only reliable traffic data is your own and since few adult sites publish their internal stats it's all moot.

If there are some who do is it even trustworthy info or could they be manipulating w bots etc and/ or just flat out lying? I've been curious about that specific question for a short time now.

I've gotten tired of pointing out that sites like this and alexa are not accurate, thanks for being the one to do it this time.

These lists don't show the realities. Streamate would be the #1 cam site because it's intergrated into pornhub and a few of those other sites listed for example. Xhamsterlive is a whitelabel for stripchat I think.

Also traffic means nothing without knowing the conversion rate. We have made more money on 5000 visitors/day with a 1:70 conversion rate than another company who got less than 1 in a million on one of the big tubesites. He got 3 sales per day while I got 70!

Similarweb provides actual insights for paying customers. That means cross referencing and seeing actual audience share, hence people who visit MFC also visit these and these websites. This website is ranking for these search terms in these regions etc. Let's not forget another important factor, intent. People who visit a tube like Xvideos, will hardly have the same intent as a potential tipper in a webcam site.
Another important factor is what pages are we talking about in those websites? Do tippers stay or come each visit from the homepage? Do we expect people to "crawl" a webcam site in the same way they consume free content on a tube? Also the visit duration and bounce rates, are all the visitors included? Are they segmented? We have to be very weary of partial data, escpecially when it comes traffic analysis, and website's Key Performance Indicators. Just my two cents as a PPC and an SEO:)

But is there any useful information from that site for models to use? Can we analyze which site is more popular and get more traffic at a specific time if I buy the subscription?

Not at all. This is a market intelligence product that website owners use. For example MFC can check their organic position in comparison to CB.

Thank you for explanation!
Anytime. My office has a paid SEMrush, (who are Similarweb's competitors), so here's a competitive analysis screenshot for MFC.
As you can see, the main organic competitors are the very tubes that steal content and at the same time refer traffic to it. does it convert? Who knows, but they keep tossing spaghetti at the wall till something sticks. As for organic traffic by geo-location, we see that the US is the biggest player, however, and that's a big however, we don't know if that's where the main spending comes from.
In addition, don't forget that a lot of folks use a VPN, and that unlike regular e-commerce i.e Amazon or eBay, our vertical has reluctant and very reclusive consumers.
Was I just wanna be a tiny helpful when I can,
Affiliates hate me, because I dig data:)
