Check those out for some research before planning your union. I wanna be on your team!! Same here. I'm so "lazy" unless it has anything to do with writing and camwork. Everything else just never gets done and I can't stay at a job for more than 2 months w/o getting restless.

Thank you for those links. They are incredibly helpful. It is kickass to see these outlets that exist for sex workers. We have truly come a long way. One day there won't be any stigma left for having a career in this field, and I believe unions play a big role in helping to demonstrate that sex work is just like working in any other industry.

Oh great question! I'll probably stick with real estate and property management. Or find myself in the adult industry in a different way, such as programming or coding.

I'm a programmer now, and I'll be a programmer then. I work for a single person, who couldn't care less about me camming, and if/when I don't work for him anymore I'll be a consultant and work on my own doing web development and backend work. The good thing about being one of the few that knows an up and coming language is that I'm in demand no matter what. Yay learning Elixir.

I'm at college atm, so when I've graduated I'll probably quit and come back to it occasionally for money
 
I'm thinking of working in the medical marijuana industry. I used to "budtend" before I started camming. I loved playing pharmacist, and I'm actually interested in the chemistry and helping ill people.

I plan to cam for the next 3-4 years tops. I want to earn enough money to buy a house and go back to school to study Pharmacy or Dentistry. Pharmacy is a 5 year course and Dentistry is 6 so i guess it will depend on fiances....the school is quite expensive and the bill must be footed by you but im not a huge shopper/holiday/spening money person so i should be able to save effectively (baring no money pit disasters happen again like what happened in the summer,long story) I would cam longer but i also want to have lots of babies :D Hence my deadline....

I want to get my PhD and do research! Right now I'm working on my masters, and my focus now and in the future is sex work in its various forms. I hope to do research and teach at a university. I'd love to educate people about sex work and help produce research that can, hopefully, change sex work laws in the US.

Getting a Phd and being a professor can also set you up for being a motivational speaker as a former sex worker too. I see former porn stars make money from that, so they are still making money from sex work they did in that past, just speaking knowledge to the audience, maybe doing book signings.
In the back of my mind I think of a Phd too. But not sure if I have what it takes with my impatience LOL. I'll see for the future :)

I want to open a cat sanctuary too. I have rescued tons of kittens. Maybe once my production company is running itself that will be what I do :)

I plan to save enough money eventually to open up a bar. I just don't think I can ever go back to a job where I have a boss who tells me what to do... I've only quit my job in Jan and i feel like by the time I am done with camming (i am only 20 now) i definitely will not want to have a 'real' job

I entered the industry strictly to pay off the huge student loans that I have accumulated. This has always been a side job for me, while I've been working as an HR specialist for a medical equipment manufacturer.

Do it!! there's a few threads in Models Only for C4S > I would read them and do research. March 8th makes 5 years full time it deff can be done! Also Im only making more/doing more as I progress in this industry. I just turned 32 and I'm rocking it so don't let age be a factor. I don't look 32 and even if I DID there is a market for it :) Good Luck!!

I'm an indie film maker, so I have lots of project ideas that will take about a lifetime to finish already haha (but they come and go, I scratch ideas all the time). My goal is to finish my series and make money off that :p

Programming, maybe digital marketing. Don't want to be a corporate slave, tho.
Also, I do social activism so maybe starting NGO or at least a blog for organizing direct actions and fundraising for a cause.
I see cam job as a mean to start something on my own. Very bad authority issues :phantom:
And yeah, to travel as much as possible...
