Hey All,

Looking for some help please,

I mod for a couple of models, one who has just started and on her last stream she got some strange messages...

A user was claiming that they could see the tip notes that were being sent to the model - none of the apps/bots that were running allowed the tips notes to be forwarded to other users - they were just basic Tip Menu, High Tippers, Goal and Lovense - Is there anyway that they could see the tip notes, or was it likely to be somebody playing games and talking rubbish?
They were also mentioning something around a fake telegram account - the account recently changed the username and profile picture to the model, even though it was created last year.

Has anyone experienced something like this before? - my gut is telling me they can't see the tip notes and it's just a ruse to get people to go on to the fake telegram account where they will be scammed - just want to check the tip note things isn't real.

Thanks in advance for you help - Jhod

Viewer here - My advice would be to ignore this user, they're likely just trying to stir up drama in the room and will give up if nobody bites.
When you see tip notifications in the chat, there's no way for another user to know if the sender included a tip note or not, let alone see any content.
Is the model working for a studio? If so, the Telegram account could be the studio's, and they have just updated it with the details and profile of the new model.

Thanks, that is what I thought, but wanted some other opinions on it.

She's not a studio model, and it's 100% not her telegram.

It was a guy that left quickly after saying it so didn't have chance to verify - the concern is that on previous streams there were a couple of guys being very abusive in PM's that are now banned on CB and we were wondering if it was them back causing trouble.

If that account is using her image, and/or any other details such as her name, then I'd suggest she reports that profile.
There's a Telegram link to doing this in their FAQ here (what if someone is pretending to be me):

I think this ^ answers your original question, sounds likely one or more has returned under a different username.

Don't assume an app is not involved just because there aren't settings for the broadcaster to share tip notes with moderators or others. All apps can see tip notes and do whatever they want to them, including forwarding them to other users based on internal whitelists.

The percentage chance of an app being involved is surely significantly lower than the percentage chance of it just being a bullshitting asshole?

I'm much less optimistic about apps given that The Menu and Room Analytics, two of the most widely-used apps on the site, were both found to be problematic.

She is using The Menu - just seen your posts and Bio on this so I've advised her to stop ASAP and use the version on your bio,

I'll make sure any models I see using it are aware of the problems too as it's the first I've seen of this.

Thanks for the help!
