We’ve just launched two new features to help you increase earnings!
Premium Private Shows: Exclusive One-on-One Experience
No more negotiating or changing your rates on the fly—now you can set a separate rate for private shows with spies disabled. This feature lets you offer a more intimate, exclusive experience at a premium price, different from your usual private show rate.
Spy Show Discounts: Exclusive Perk for Fan Club Members
Now, you can reward your Fan Club members with a special perk by setting a discounted spy show rate just for them.
Maximize your earnings ? with premium private shows, spy show discounts, or both—tailored to fit your audience and goals.
At any time, you can enable these features in the Settings & Privacy tab on your broadcast page. Look for the “Private Show Settings” section. You’ll be able to change both the rate for your Premium Private Shows and the rate for Spy Show Discounts for your Fan Club members.

CB usually announces the updates a week or two after they have been implemented just in case they cause problems and need to be removed. I have seen them remove chat/site updates before due to them causing problems with other stuff on the siteI had it available from week hmmm already set new prices around last weeknd

This seems like a much better option than what some users had been doing to avoid spies - requesting a password show.
It retains the tokens-per-minute pay structure and doesn’t kick other members out of the room entirely (which a suddenly password-protected room does). Cool!

What's missing, however, is app support for these new features. Hopefully this will come soon, but in the meantime apps are unable to promote premium private shows or fanclub spy discounts, and statistics apps will likely have incorrect data for private shows.

Most apps allow notifications, easy enough to create one for the time being. Clicking private show link would provide the info as well.@punker barbie Thanks for this update! The features are great and models I know are already using them

Agreed, but statistics will still be incorrect until apps can see the premium private show rates and detect the type of private show (standard vs. premium).

Previous workaround was that models could set the spy rate per minute to zero if they wanted to, which prevented spying, but this is a much better feature IMHO.

Mine were as well. Plus there were apps there that I don't remember loading...like what? So glad to see they at least heard our cries and stopped the bloodletting so to speak.Good. My apps were all screwed up. I had to redo all my inputs in 2 of the apps.

One of the bots I tried using last night just spammed the chat with error messages in super fast succession

I noticed one thing. When i open app and click : settings then it seems like screwed up, everything is empty, but when i click app, no go to settings, just wait few seconds and click start (without go to settings), my app is starting normally with previous times settings..Good. My apps were all screwed up. I had to redo all my inputs in 2 of the apps.

The new and improved Chaturbate App Directory is now live!
Here’s what’s new:
We’ve made it easier to find the right apps for your room by improving search functionality and adding new filters and browsable categories. You can now track down exactly what tools you need quicker than ever.
We are aware that some creators may have experienced issues with the new App Directory during its initial rollout. Thanks to feedback from the community, these issues were quickly identified and are now resolved. If you need any assistance restoring your previous app settings, please contact support.
For a limited time, you can still switch back to the legacy design using the “App Directory Preference” toggle on the Apps tab. Because this is only temporary, we encourage you to share your feedback on the new App Directory here.

I stuck with legacy, because it's what I know. But the new layout is great for new cammers or people who are unsure of what apps actually are/how to use them. Thanks!

Is it ~just~ me or the Menu app (apps, depending what you all use) do not work from the new app directory? User tips for something that's on the menu (imagine idk, 19 tks - PM) and you cannot see what he paid for. You just see the tip and that's it.

The app directory is indeed working good now but there are a few issues
The star rating is extreme abused. Some dev''s and apps are rated with 25 1 star ratings , even on apps that are not used at all
while an other dev suddenly got 25 5 star ratings .....
the updated X years ago is incorrect , i think it shows the first upload date and not update
the category of the apps is incorrect , i think it's using the description but if a dev mentions a hidden cam bot in the description of a tip menu
the tip menu will also be listed in the hidden cam category

The 1-star ratings were reported to CB Support all the way back in March, but there's been a recent escalation and I submitted a new report last week asking CB Support to consider them a form of harassment under the terms of service if any user was identified leaving multiple such ratings. @punker barbie has there been progress on either the report I submitted in March or the one from last week, please? Other developers have also commented on this in the dev forum.
There are still major issues with the new app directory, though, and I've been recommending to models to use the old version as long as possible. The most serious issues are:
- Ghost or zombie apps. This is where an app continues to run even though the broadcaster has stopped it. The app can still be interacted with through commands, but the settings cannot be accessed and it cannot be shut down.
- Missing events. Everything apps do is in response to events, e.g., when a user tips, when a user follows, when an app starts. Some broadcasters are not receiving critical events, most notably events when a new broadcast starts. These events are critical for maintaining the state of apps and their absence really hinders broadcasters.
