Well I got several anwers from various countries, and it will be published soon.
I think the research question should be framed in an objective - rather than subjective - framework. For example, you could ascertain how much they make, how much they perceive the best models make, and what is the average salary in in the local (non-sex) job market. Those could be cross referenced against objective marker research, for things like average salaries. You could cross reference different values but all the scales should be objective.
Asking about "perception" of income versus local typical incomes is very subjective. Such perception is likely greatly affected by things like the person's age and whether they still live at home versus pay rent in a big city.
Hum this survey is more about the difference in the performers pereception of themselves, so there is an inevitable part of subjectivity. Comparing a camgirl income toward the average income of the country/city seems a bit pointless to me - the average income is quite a random thing (USA and Iceland are neighbourgs but the wealth distribution is radically different), and don't take account a lot of things as local currency volatility and purchasing power.
I see a big difference in the answers between very young models that just want pocket money, and compare camming income toward student jobs, and older "pro" models that have way more expense and demands, but as it's an article for a cam related auditory, so I guess people have the right tools to understand the situation.
If someone is still interested to participate (i can add answers after the ,ain publication) - here is the list of questions (just DM me the answers)
1)Country of residence
2)What is the legal status of webcaming in your country? Do you need to have a legal status (sole entrepreuneur, self employed etc), how much tax do you pay from your income (in %)
