Hey there, a friend of mine that has a quite popular webcam channel is preparaing a material, comparing camgirls (and boys) situation in various countries.

I would love to help help her. so if you want to be a part of the survey it would take about 5 minutes of your time, DM me (or if that's allowed I'll just post the list of questions here and you'll answer me in DM)

THere is no personal questions, mostly stuff about the juridical status of camming in your country, taxes, your perceiption of your income vs the average income and such.

I'll post the question if I'm autorized to do so.

I think the research question should be framed in an objective - rather than subjective - framework. For example, you could ascertain how much they make, how much they perceive the best models make, and what is the average salary in in the local (non-sex) job market. Those could be cross referenced against objective marker research, for things like average salaries. You could cross reference different values but all the scales should be objective.

Asking about "perception" of income versus local typical incomes is very subjective. Such perception is likely greatly affected by things like the person's age and whether they still live at home versus pay rent in a big city.

Not sure what you're using to do your survey but Survey Monkey is good for giving surveys as they make it easier to measure results. I've seen some people use Google forms and those are bad for wanting to keep your identity concealed as users will have to use a Google account to login (if login is required is selected when the form is made) which then shares information about that account to the person who made the document unless it is set to be anonymous. A good way to tell if a form you are filling out from someone on Google forms is anonymous or not is if the name or email fields show astericks (*) meaning they are required fields.

Well I got several anwers from various countries, and it will be published soon.

Hum this survey is more about the difference in the performers pereception of themselves, so there is an inevitable part of subjectivity. Comparing a camgirl income toward the average income of the country/city seems a bit pointless to me - the average income is quite a random thing (USA and Iceland are neighbourgs but the wealth distribution is radically different), and don't take account a lot of things as local currency volatility and purchasing power.

I see a big difference in the answers between very young models that just want pocket money, and compare camming income toward student jobs, and older "pro" models that have way more expense and demands, but as it's an article for a cam related auditory, so I guess people have the right tools to understand the situation.

If someone is still interested to participate (i can add answers after the ,ain publication) - here is the list of questions (just DM me the answers)
1)Country of residence
2)What is the legal status of webcaming in your country? Do you need to have a legal status (sole entrepreuneur, self employed etc), how much tax do you pay from your income (in %)
3)What would you like to know before you started to caming& What advices would you give to a starting camgirl?
4)Are you satisfied with the internet speed in your area? Is there a provider service that you will recommend over the others?
5)Are you working from home/studio/renting or owning a separate streaming place? Did you had problems with neigbourhood or landlords due to your activity?
6)How is your feeling about people perception of your activity? Do you openly speak about your work with family/friends/acquintances?
7)How is your feeling about you income compare to the average income in your area? Do you feel being part of the poor/middle/upper class?

We got answers from Colombia, Mexico, Spain, France, USA and Kyrgyzistan so far. I would really love to have at least one answer from Romania and Philippines as I feel as we missing something witout it.
