Was wondering about the make up of members within your room? [Balance of spending members to non-spending, Everyday regulars/ Regulars/ Sometimes visitors/ Newbies, Avid supporters/ Helpers/ Room fillers/ Trolls ...etc.]

Do you categorize your members in some way, even if only in your head? (i.e. Whale tippers, Friends, Fuck buddies :) , Adoring fans, Backers, Motivators, Freeloaders) [yes/no answer is ok]

How balanced is your room? Does it have a good variety of supporters? Will the loss of 1 or 2 members be a little painful or devastating to your time on?

What I was curious about was the extent to which you are locked into pleasing only a few members or have you always been entertaining for many members? Do you rely on one or two big spenders? Are you stuck with only one possible camming path/ type of show/ content? How secure do you feel when camming?

Finally;
Does it matter? (some models seem to go for years with only one or two good supporters)
Can a balanced room even be created/ planned? (I suspect in part it can)

My room is constantly different. I am still currently building a following, but generally it's about 50% premiums and basics and then about 50% guests at any one time. My room counts are a bit on the low side, so I have lots of everyday regs who will tip what they can, and one or two whale tippers who generally get my show going. I have basic cheer leaders, and lots of supporters. I rarely get trolls. My room generally has a silly, happy vibe.

I guess I categorize members in three different ways: Cheerleader regs, Chatty regs, and Peepers. I try NOT to discourage anyone from hanging out in my room. I don't think of members as friends/not-friends or spenders/non-spenders. It's been my limited experience that treating all members and even guests like people will make them create accounts if they can. So, I categorize them socially to see who is going to get my room hopping. I really like chatty regs who will go back and forth with me joking and such, because it makes my room nice for everyone. I will gently tease my peepers and acknowledge that I know they come into my room, and then let them peep. My cheerleaders perk me up when I'm down.

It's funny, because I haven't really thought of this. I just wave and thank people when they come in, and tell them I'll see them next time. I try not to let it affect my mood. My mood only dies if everyone in my room is not chatting. I even feel slightly awkward when lots of people are tipping but no chatting is happening. I mean, I LIKE the tips lol. But I feed really well off of the interaction between members and I.

This isn't a question I can answer just yet, but I aim to be the best of me, and just be kind and see what happens. That's what I strive for. I don't feel secure camming yet, but I'm willing to work to get there.

Sort of, actually! Paying attention to your members and your demographic allows you to be a better entertainer. You can tailor your shows and conversation to make things more enjoyable for everyone!

I'm picturing the beginning of Oceans 11 where they're trying to fill out their roster.

While it is true you dont want more than one "promoter" (if you want one at all), I think you can live with having multiple "tips with emots" guys. And can certainly live with multiple whales, unless they start fighting. Whale tip war, great. Whale slap fight, not so good.
