I found that Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie is on netflix. I forgot how low budget the show actually is. The command center, the costumes, Zordon, everything in general looks so much better. Some of the CGI graphics look just awful. Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa sound really different too, Alpha 5's voice is a lot less grading on my ears. I did not know that this movie introduced me to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The soundtrack for this movie is actually pretty good.

I always enjoy when a thread I start encourages a lot of conversation. Even when the replies are slightly off topic or completely unrelated. It makes me feel like I am contributing in a positive way to the ACF community.

So I'm watching "hot I met your mother" and there's this bit where Barney has done a video of someone interviewing him. Ted asks "ask you interviewing yourself?" and Barney goes "No, how could be me? that guy is british." and then a Scottish lilt comes into the voice and Ted goes "And a little bit Scottish..."
Yeah, Scotland is Britain Numbnuts.

Now ok, I understand these are fictional characters(kinda), but seeing as Ted is always correcting people for stupid things it irritates me that they wrote it that he'd say something so stupid whilst trying to be clever.

When I access this forum through Firefox, I get logged out repeatedly. But when I use Google Chrome, I don't have that problem.

I can live with that, since I prefer Chrome anyway. The only thing I need Firefox for is camming on ImLive, and using the online version of JustCamIt (for the UK site AdultWork).

I worked on MFC today, and it was awesome seeing everyone again! It's so nice being able to work again, though a vacation was in order I'm currently living in a hotel/hostel run by a man named Miguel who is from Russia, and no, Spanish is not the official language of the place I'm staying. My first day I said I had a question for him. His response before I could ask was, "Yes, I answer all sorts of questions from 'What does this say' to 'Where can I get marijuana or a prostitute'. Also, if you want anything including weed or a prostitute I can get you that on commission as well". He was serious. I just wanted to know how to open the window. :lol:

I walked by a chick from Texas the other night. Actual quote "Is that moon the same one I'm looking at when I'm in Texas?" I couldn't resist and responded "No, it's the European moon, slightly smaller, and stays out later at night." Man, I don't miss the midwest. I'm sure people may very well be constantly saying stupid things around me, but since I don't know the language it just sounds pretty. :lol:

Yeah we don't get your complex union of countries that are not separate nations but always are shown that way in movies. I thought mel gibson made scotland free, and didn't james franco have to steal sophia myles from ireland and fight a war to keep her? See we're are a screwed up lot when it comes to world history, we can't be expected to remember every fact unless you make a movie out of it. lol

Edit: I do know this is not the case, but only because I was told by a friend in the UK.
