I know the pain.

My mouse is a multi button programmable one. Two of the buttons I have specifically set up as copy and paste. So I never have to use the keyboard. Way quicker that way. But every time I go to use someone else's computer and their plain mouse I keep moving my fingers to click those two side buttons, that don't exist on theirs.

I have thumb-accessible back/forward buttons on any mouse I use normally, but my wireless cam room mouse has none. I miss it so badly when I'm on that computer, or anywhere that doesn't have those glorious buttons.

And I have another set for 'Gestures 16-in-1 settings.' Hold that down and move the mouse in any of 16 different ways to do the associated command. And it has two different profiles I can save to get all new commands. And with a macro it does anything I want.

I get to those plain mice and my heartbeat rises a bit thinking 'how do you survive on this?!?'

I've got customizability but don't use too much. I have this mouse on both my office machine and my gaming machine, so the one on my gaming machine has more custom buttons set for Overwatch keybindings and such.

Occasionally I'll step outside at night to gaze at the stars, as I just did. Walked all the way out to the end of my driveway and as I was looking up I heard something and I froze. Now I've heard the words "Oh God! Oh God! OH GOD YES!" before but not from the young neighbor girl that lives across the street.
