For those of you who saw it, what did you think?

I've seen tons of vampire movies and I thought it was THE BEST.
Ethan Hawke is so fucking sexy. Mmmmm

meh it was OK..I wouldn't recommend it. You might like it if you think tons of blood and gore can make up for a lame story line and horrible script. I watch A LOT of movies though so I might be pickier than most.

on the plus side..the vampires didn't sparkle :lol:

Lame story...REALLY?! A fully functioning futuristic vampire society, Vamps driving around in cars in the daylight with the aid of cameras, Corporate greed, and a somewhat suprising ending. I was pretty impressed with this new take on the vampire genre. It wasn't your typical hero vs. an unending swarm of mindless bloodsuckers; It is a theroritical WHAT IF everybody on earth was a vampire and what problems would they face?

I enjoyed it, made a pleasant change, and i liked the ending even if it was not unexpected, i wont go into any details as i dont want to spoil it for those who havent seen it, but i am a "sucker" for vampire movies, pun was totally and very badly intended.

Sure it was a great premise, probably why I got 'sucked' into paying for a movie ticket. I too, love vampire films. Heck one of my all time favorite movies is Interview with the Vampire. It would have been cool if there was a more in depth view of the human side of the story and more character development. Sadly from what I remember it was a lot of vampire vs human hide and seek, a lot of really bad special effects and a lot of unnecessary blood and gore.




Naughty Amber I misread the thread. I originally had thought someone else was posting to ask if he/she should watch the movie or not. I apologize. I realize my original post was a bit rude in reply to yours.
