So Ive been really reviewing chaturbate rules and im curious on the rule against degrading. There is alot of degrading kinks floating around chaturbate and im wondering is that honestly a rule break if you go into a private chat and your saying the things to degrade them that they want you to say like the whole small package thing? Im very curious because the rules dont specify on the degrading so is just all degrading out?

Hi, there's no difference if what you say or do is in a pm or a public chat--content is moderated across all the spaces on the platform (private is public for support and mods). Also, it would be irrelevant if it were your idea or the user's.

Regarding your question, the short answer is no degrading content at all.

Now, I don't know what exactly would be a "degrading kink" for you, but there are some tags that come to my mind that may be related to what you're thinking of: #slave #cuckold #cei #humiliation #sissy and you already mentioned #sph.

I would think that if the tag is allowed on the site then the related content is allowed too. However, keep in mind that all those are edgier topics that often operate on the borderline of what's permitted. So it could be pretty easy to cross the line even without noticing. Telling him that he has a "small package" is ok, and that "it wouldn't even tickle you" is ok too, but when the tease and fetish become "degradation" or something else that's forbidden is unclear. The best answer you'd get from them is something on the lines of either "it is forbidden" or "it is allowed BUT read the ToS and rules" that ultimately leaves you at the starting place. You can say or do something one day and be ok, and then do the same the next day and be banned because the AI or a particular mod judged it wasn't actually ok after all. See what I'm saying?

So if it's not something that really entices you or something that you're already into, then I'd suggest you avoid it just to stay safe. If you do decide to venture there though, extreme caution is advised, as you will be dealing not just with your words and actions but with the user's too.

Since I noticed you're kinda new, at least on the platform, I'll add a little advice: have your ban button ready. More so for when some user tells you something related to a serious violation like CSAM, scat, pays off platform, etc. As soon as you detect any hint of a prohibited topic, it is expected that you immediately stop any interaction with the user (no further answers at all, like AT ALL), stop the pvt show (if you're in one) and report and ban the user. When in doubt, it's better to ban the user. No tip is worth the risk of losing your room.

private is public for support and mods
No moderator has access to a private show unless the model allows spying and the mod pays for it. And when spying you can't read the chat between the actual private client and the model.

So when it comes to that kind of content you can say things like, "your cock is perfect for anal, it's so small I wouldn't know it was there." You can't say things like "you're a worthless human being because your cock is the size of a thumb." If they ask you to say those things you are well within your right to end the show and report them for crossing the line but if you are genuinely finding yourself in a place where guys want you to do this, take their money.

"Ahhh that small cock needs to tip me more for my attention." Never say "little". It's a designated banned fetish because little implies age play.

Oh, I think I wasn't clear. I ment moderators, the ones who work for CB, not the mods (users) of the room.

Oh ok. There are no employees who monitor rooms for violations. I'll talk to you about it on the model side. :)

Not to take away from all that you wrote, but ^ this approach I think needs great caution.
Have commented numerous times here that CB allows hashtags such as #young #teen and others, that seems to be directly at odds with the hard line the site takes with the appearance of being a minor, even when the model has provided all required ID to verify they are legally an adult.

I just lost my room and got it back for a violation. I'm treading EXTREMELY lightly and plan to use the questionable hashtags to my advantage since they're allowed but make sure I'm not actually engaging in something that violates TOS. So I might use the #mommy hashtag since it brings in a lot of viewers, but I have to stop taking privates and doing RP where I'm the user's mom/stepmom. I might RP being their FRIEND'S mom or some random mom. It sucks because a LOT of guys fantasize about doing their moms and I was making pretty good money at it.

Another example is that I might wear cat ears and use the #cosplay hashtag, but I'm not going to RP being a kitty or engage with anyone who requests it. I bought a tail butt plug and that's gonna have to stay off cam. I'm going to lose probably a lot of the money I was making on privates but I'd rather that than get banned again. It wasn't worth it; I was terrified I wasn't going to get it back since it's a solid stream of income I can count on.

That said, I think the code of conduct is written REALLY ambiguously and almost anything can be considered a violation of it. For example, they also prohibit "lewd" and "obscene" stuff, which tbh I think the whole site could qualify as that if you really wanted to make that argument. With degradation, I'd be very wary of a user who SAYS he's into that actually getting his fee fees hurt and reporting you. Also, I just learned that AI scans pretty much everything everyone says and will auto flag you, so there's not really any way to hide it. I like what briannabanana said about being creative and talking about their small penis but in such a way that it's not actually offensive. You could maybe also do what I'm doing and use the hashtag #sph to bring in viewers but without actually engaging in the humiliation part.

Not at all, I agree with you. I mean, one could still use those tags you mentioned but the related risks just get higher. So great caution at least and avoid if possible.

I get it, so allowed. I was thinking about how some allowed things could attract riskier users if someone made their room about that.

I'm not sure that'd be the best idea. I think the point here was to assess risk to work safe, and not about how to "play" the rules to do things that are prohibited. Maybe a different approach? This one sounds both risky and exhausting.

I'm not sure I follow or understand how you came to the conclusion that the goal was to do prohibited things. The plan is to NOT do anything prohibited. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear.

For example, using #mommy and #milf hashtags isn't prohibited. Roleplaying a random mom or a friend's mom is also allowed. So I'm not sure what the issue would be there as long as I'm not roleplaying being a relative of the user. It seems clear to me. Am I missing something?
