Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

Its really never been something I think about. I only know people through the personality they convey through chat, so thats all that seems to matter. I'm not on MFC to get a relationship so I dont care.

... since I don't have any daughters, I don't ever think that the model I am chatting with is young enough to be my daughter. Win-win! Besides, age is just a number. Having a young attitude really goes a long way.
:text-yeahthat: This so much ...
I find that in the vast majority of instances, it is the younger ladies 21-30 that approach me as opposed to women closer to my age.

... older men were more respectful and better tippers..... the younger guys are cocky, act like assholes and are not as good of tippers as older men are.
... and add many younger guys generally have no basic manners at all.

I can't tell you how many times I have heard this exact thing from women, not only on the interwebz, but IRL as well, from all walks of life. [obviously if she's not in the adult industry or a waitress, there's no reference to the tipping part.] :twocents-02cents:

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

In my personal life, older guys (and I dont mean seniors old, I mean late twenties to early thirties) seem to have a more pratical outlook on life and more realistic expectations. Most of the dudes Ive gone on dates with that were my age had poor manners and still lived off their parents :(

Tell me about it... It's just as bad IRL as it is on MFC.
I can not imagine going on a date with one of the 22/23 year old guys from school for example. Most of them are just so immature and haven't done or reached anything great yet, but they think they're the absolute shit and know how the world works. (Most! Not all! No one needs to be offended! ;)) I don't know if it's always been like this, but today's 22 year olds are so difficult to deal with. There's already a big difference between being 22 and being, let's say 28.

Theres a physical thing for me too, I find most guys my age have college body- unhealthily skinny or unhealthiy overweight. But that could be something to do with where I live. And sparse facial hair :( hahah I sound like I hate younger guys or I have an old man fetish. I don't, its just the way things work out.

The guys at my school look like they really try their hardest to fulfill the cliché of the starving student/artist/writer. Either that or they're overweight. - I'm glad it's similar in other places. ^^

Oh it's the same here too. The last time I stood next to a guy my own age, I looked FAT and old. :? All of the guys my own age around here look like those starving children in third world countries and the other few I know have already gotten more than a head start on their beer bellies. It's sad that there's not some decent middle ground.

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

Age doesn't matter to me, especially when it comes to camming. I don't prefer any age group because there are polite, generous and respectful men in each of them. As long as you treat me the way I treat you, you are fine with me. I do have to say though, with my attraction to older movies, books etc, I tend to enjoy conversations with men who are usually out of their twenties. I always say instead of an inner child I have an inner old woman

Something I've been pondering. Do you ladies feel awkward knowing that some of your viewers are old enough to be fathers and grandfathers? On the flipside, is it weird that 18-20 year olds are watching you?

I'm pretty sure most of the ladies on MFC are there to make money. They chat, dance, strip, whatever to earn tokens/money.

Last I checked, the tokens of a 50-year old or a 70-year old are the same as those of a 22-year old (except that the 50-year old probably has a Hell of a lot more of them than the 22-year old).

So why would it make them feel "weird" that an older guy was watching them and giving them tokens?

From a business perspective, the 50-year old is probably a far better "client" than the 22-year old.

The older guy has more money, is probably more generous, and, frankly, isn't going to pop his load in 2-minutes and leave like a younger guy might (more time online= more tokens spent).

You would tend to think that. However, in over 10 years of camming, I have never noticed that type of pattern. It may be because I'm older, I don't know. I would say the majority of my income is from the group between 28-38. On both sides of that, it falls off. The 22 year olds are frequent visitors but each visit is shorter than average ;) The 63 year olds come in for a nice long visit but not too often. And of course this is a generalization. There are exceptions but on average, my bread and butter comes from the middle :)

That makes sense really, those middle years probably represent a combination of peak income coupled with a lingering "devil may care" attitude. :)

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

i've never ever met a woman in camland that cared that i was 63....it was, in fact, me who felt awkward about by age when i first signed up.....for two reasons, i think
1. i have a daughter who is 20....but we ended up talking about it (long story, and probably interesting to some....but not worth the bandwidth, imo)....and she was not only cool with it, but now has a certain fascination with the idea of making money talking to guys  (another long story, as she is modest almost to a fault....which is different than shy or inhibited....and some of my closest "friends" in camland are nn)....anyway
2. it has always struck me that a huge % of the clientele in camland are happiest wearing their "live, interactive porn tube" glasses.....which is often times good for business, and often times translates into just objectifying and obnoxious behavior......which put me off, and initially made me feel very much like "the outsider" because i tip for all kinds of reasons....from the pure perv to the white knight, and everything in between

but after a while, all that's been said in this tread about "respectful, etc" began to reveal itself in my visits.....and i've come to enjoy the relatively unique position i find myself in immensely......and that includes my occasional desire to throttle some of the guys who i see there :angel12:

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

As a 52 year old I've found that models fall into two groups, the really young and cute ones who fall more into the puppy and kitten category. They are fun and pretty and sexy to watch, but I would not usually expect much in the way of conversation from them, simply because we have nothing in common. The other models I like are usually older, and because they have been around, i can find things to talk to them about.

That said, my motivation for being on MFC is different to most. I've never taken a model private, and rarely go into groups. For me, its just about hanging out in a room for some good conversion and beautiful company.

It's only awkward when theres 500+ ..and the room is silent.

that's when I yell: "TIME FOR GROUP!" ..once group is done, the room empties out.

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

Just like many of the girls posted, the age thing doesn't bother me. If anyone comes in my room and says they are under age, I just ban them, however if they are 18+ its all good in the hood.

I did see some mention that 18 or 19 makes them worried that they are lying , but then we are torn by those pesky rules that MFC does not enforce too often it seems. Some of us are guilty of breaking or "bending" the rules about nudity and cum shows in public chat which is where the issue would lie if the people are underage. But who's to say the smarter kids are not lurking as a guest or basic and keeping their thoughts to themselves. I was a kid once when the internet first started...I know how this works.

But I digress... I've always been able to talk to people, no matter what age so as long as they wanna talk, I have a few ears open! But on cam...18+ :)

Not to jack this too far sideways, but it seems like I'm seeing many many more now that do the "Hi BB, I'm 14/16. I wanna c pussy." ....basics and premium acts.
My question is why? I wonder what goes thru the mind of an "adult" to get some sort of giggles out of this.

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

ive seen that too and it really freaked me out im not one to get to graphic in public chat but still i dont want a BABY seeing me do that lol

as far as older guys like 50 + i love to talk to people who are older and hear life stories and its kinda turn on to know they have seen so many great beauties in there lives and they call me beautiful to =P

Maybe they're on a campaign to make sure the public shows stop?

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

Color me greedy, but I don't care what age they are, whether it's 18 or 58. As long as teh tips are flowing, I'm game.

Re: Do models feel awkward knowing that some viewers are 50+

No, it kind of turns me on either way.
