I've never even seen anything about Horizon 2, but I went to gamestop one fateful night and I've always been a huge fan of the Forza series, picked up horizon not realizing there had been a new forza sequel out and rushed home to find myself in pure joy.
Boot up the console and start playing, WTF IS THIS SHIT?! I hated it, it's like someone from need for speed walked over and stuck their dick in my forza stew. I can't believe they let the franchise go in that direction, and so now I ignore that it ever happened. Hearing there is a second one is disappointing, is it similar to the first one?

Yes, it is. It's very anticipated. I've played Forza since the beginning, as well. While I love the simulator Forza is, I also love the Horizon as well. It reminds me of some of the original Xbox racers I played. As you probably know now, Horizon and the main branch are on, I believe, 2 year development cycles. So, this year is Horizon's turn with the sequel. From what I've played, it will be just as awesome as the first.
Might have to get this on the 360 instead of the One. A lot of the people I game with haven't upgraded yet and I want to be able to play with them. Might even double dip. Read that the 360 version is missing the cross country events and those sound awesome.
