FPS disaster, any update?

Hi,
I haven't been able to reliably broadcast on CB in 2 weeks. My FPS keep fluctuating drastically often sitting at 0-16 after starting out at 20-30+.
I know it's the sitewide FPS issue that is affecting rooms, not my phone or laptop or browser or internet service. My partner has no issues whatsoever after testing this out on their account/devices.
Do we have any idea what is going on or how long it will take to fix?
This is incredibly frustrating and I was off to a really good start, but as soon as I see the FPS drop it feels like what's the point?
I submitted my problem to CB support and just received a "we're working on it" response with no details or timeframe.

Its sitewide but your partner has no issues?

Did you try another obs server?

Yes, people "sitewide" are being affected by these issues. It doesn't mean "everyone" is affected by these issues.
I don't know what is causing this to happen, but it is happening to people across the site and has been for at least the last 2 weeks.

Any help would be appreciated.

On my end everything looks perfect so I never knew I was lagging on a users end. Until someone finally said something to me. Going on 2nd week now. Extremely frustrating and I got an email saying this.

A lot of times mine will say 10-16 but when I check my own stream in a logged-out window everything looks fine and there's no lagging or pixelation. So maybe best case scenario it's just that

Unless customers are pointing it out. Maybe switching servers like cbhours said would help.

I had the same idea and tried running cam from phone so I could watch chat from laptop (logged out), hoping that some viewers were exaggerating about the issue, but still had lag/pixelation and black screen.
I submitted another support ticket yesterday looking for any update regarding this.
If I hear anything I'll update it here.

No update from support yet, but I did just finish a 6 hour stream with apparently few fps/glitching/lag issues.
I only had someone comment "black screen" once so I just refreshed.
Otherwise, everything seemed to run fine? I did my best to ignore the fluctuating fps on-screen, and maybe I just have forgiving viewers but I had a good amount of engagement for being gone for almost 2 weeks.
I would recommend just streaming and hopefully you can get some feedback whether or not this issue is still affecting your room. I did see that some other rooms were still very glitchy.

Sorry for not updating, but I basically received the same standard "did you try X browser, try OBS etc."
I'm assuming this has something to do with poor code interactions with the new PM/DM update that they just put a notification up for.
I think that my broadcast fps has gotten better since last week, however I can still watch it drop to 0 sit there for a couple seconds, and then fluctuate all the way back to 20+.
With that consideration, I have only heard "black screen" or "you froze" maybe 3-4 times over the last 4 days of streaming, and I've been receiving tips and interaction.
So either its gotten a little better or I have very nice and understanding viewers.
I hope that this helps and that everyone's rooms can get back to normal!
