Getting started with Snapchat

This may seem like a dumb question, but has us baffled.

We made our story public and have a bunch of things lined up to tease with. We have made a first go to get people to add us. We also know that we do not want to add them. The app is asking us to "accept" their add. Is this going to add them or just approve their add to follow us?

Answers from Google are not geared toward this since most everyone adds back, but most people are not Cam Girls. Cece does not want to spend the next 10 hours chatting with all the horny time wasters.

Do not click add. It will add them to your friend list and anyone on your friend list can openly chat with you. What you are looking to do is change your story to viewable by everyone under settings, but who can contact you is nobody or just friends.

Thanks @Luxy Reid I knew not to "Add", however in the app when we go to the list of followers has a button to "Accept", not Add. It makes it seem like you have to approve everyone, however some threads I have read indicate that Adds them as well.

I believe we have the answer though since over 90% of the followers have now seen the last two snaps according to the app. That indicates we do not need to hit the accept button. Let the hustle begin!
