Anyone know any tricks to diminish glare on glasses? It seems like no matter what I do with my lights, angles, and laptop brightness I just have big creeper glare glasses.

I am planning to get some new expensive anti-glare glasses for my birthday.. but until then I'd like to look not like a monster.

My lights are already diffused with a sheet. I think with this particular angle the glare is mostly from my laptop, but I kinda need to look at it, so what can I do?

EDIT: lol, didn't even realize my bf was laying behind me :P

I found this person saying how to remove glare from glasses during interviews. I do not think it can help you but it is all I could find.

Methinks there is something called anti-glare or anti-reflective coating you can put on your glasses. If it's just coming from your monitor, try angling the monitor slightly. There are also monitor filters and camera filters available. Google is your friend. :)

I can only angle myself from my laptop so much and still see it. And I feel it'd be silly to pay for a coating when i need a new prescription anyways. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

 There is no way glare on your glasses could make you into a "monster." lol You're way too cute for that. If you wear them more for "effect" than an absolute necessity, you might consider wearing frames without lenses.

Old TV comic Phil Silvers did that, even though he needed the prescription.

Awww,thank you, Nordling. ^.^

I can't see without them, though. And I can't do contacts.

Honestly, I have anti glare coating... [JUST got new glasses] && I still have SOME glare. So I don't think you can make it go away 100%. :(.

This.
I have the anti-glare coating on my 2 most recent pairs of glasses and while it eliminates glare 100% in person, you can still see it on cam. It's not as bad as if I had no coating at all, but it's definitely noticeable. Also since the coating is tinted green the glare that you will get on cam will be green (the tint isn't really noticeable in person on the lenses). I never wear my glasses on cam for this reason because I feel like I look like a bug.
