I've been pretty heavily addicted to CB for the past 6 months or so. It started as a gradual shift from regular porn, which I've been a big fan of since forever and generally thought cam sites didn't make sense because I wouldn't pay for good porn so I definitely wouldn't pay for amateur dildo play. Then one day I turned my camera on and got a nice reaction and it was game over for me.

Anyways, since then I've had a lot of thoughts about the concept as a whole and gone back and forth between feeling like it was a cool community, expression, freedom kinda thing and other times getting stuck on every moral question you can imagine. At this point I think it's overall just a symptom of an unhealthy society, but also a good and necessary step in our evolution. But I don't think about it too much because at the end of the day I'm in love with dozens of beautiful foreign women (half of them probably hate me and the other half have probably never seen me) and it's basically the only thing I find joy in anymore. (although sometimes it's soul crushing misery)

I'd like to create a series of threads with these kinds of questions if Amber approves, which I understand she might not because some of them are uncomfortable. So I'll start with this one to give an example.

Do any models ever feel bad when you think about real sex workers and how a lot of them have very dark situations that put them on that particular path and all of the crap they have to go thru, a lot of them not making much doing it, having drugs pushed on them, giving their boss most of the money, etc., and then there are cam models making tons of money in a nice cushy room and looking down on all the simps cheering them on while having the nerve to glorify sex work and play the role of "brave self expressionist fighting the good fight for all sex workers"?.

And btw, I'm not just a monger who's being a hater. I love everybody, basically. And I think most models are super cool and brave. I just think that's a topic that maybe should be addressed more often in the community, because models, specifically "camgirls" can be a bit of an echo chamber surrounded by groveling yes-men.
OMG.I will never understand people who try to complicate everything. What do you expect to find when you peep behind the adult cam industries curtain?.Some kind of yellow brick road that leads to the wizard of oz that controls everything?.Come on, dude.Mind you, speaking of the wizard of oz, when you spend a lot of time in a cam performers room, you do come across a lot of scarecrow's with no brains.

This is insane - I only skimmed the comments, and re-skimmed mine. Which I admit, is pretty unfortunate that I wrote it so dramatically, but if ya'll experienced some of this stuff you'd probably be losing it too. I don't even know where to begin to describe the ways that website is creepy as all hell. I'm an open book and my problems are well known. But the overall reaction here is a really great example of something that's very wrong in the world today. But likely won't be addressed anytime soon. Sadly this web of lies will probably only gain popularity in the next decade or two.

Don't worry, I won't be back. Thanks for keeping it up this long, it's an eye opener.

A part of me died when I read

Like literally get a life. Webcam is sex work . I have worked in every single type of sex work imaginable. Made a lot of money raised my kids and the idea of you feeling sorry for someone says a lot about a) your lack of self awareness b) your arrogance. Whoreachy is a thing - go educate yourself please
