Hello to all the ladies!
I have been on MFC for a week on Sunday now and my first Sunday night was amazing, even being overwhelmed with all the PMs since I was "fresh meat" but I made money and it was all good. I went back on a Tuesday for an hour and a half and it was super slow in my room and didn't get a thing. So I tried Wednesday night and it was a tiny bit better got some money but nothing like Sunday, I went online again tonight and nothing but a lot of "
free show?" "flashing before tips to see if I like" and a lot of premiums that come in and out of my room fast, and one premium that parked himself in my room and didn't even say hi all night. I got a lot of "well I am premium just no tokens yet/tonight, but how about a quick flash??" A ton of those "show boobs bb" "pussy bb?" really annoying cheap asses. I have been working on my profile and setting my demands (rules) and minimums. I do however have a ton of requests for Skype shows, now I have never any Skyped before for anything, so my worry is my number being displayed to the person I am giving a paid show to or my real name. I have been researching other ladies on here from New to Popular, I see a lot of games they play, but I am not sure how these games like "spin the wheel" or "raffeling" or "the name on the board game" work out and their rules are made prizes and how the customers receive said prizes? Also, I see a lot of videos and pictures for sale with Snapchat. Im not sure how that site works for selling pics/videos. So needless to say since Sunday, it has been super dead for me my camscore fluctuated and is remaining low now. It's not even the first payout for me and I am already feeling like a goner. How do I get people to come and stay in my room? I'm nice and polite to all, yet no bites since Sunday. I even had a premium tell me today he is too cheap for a private or true private but yet wanted a Skype show for 10 tokens for a full hours worth. I really want this to work out, I set a goal like : goal is 2000 tks for the night and nothing. All I got was a lot of small irrelevant chitchat and compliments on my looks and personality but not one tip. I'd extremely appreciate all advice

First and foremost I say get yourself set up with Model's Only status. There is a plethora of information there. Second of all, when you first start, it will be slow. So you set your goal at 2k tokens per night? Honestly, when I first started under new model status, my high goal was 1200 tokens (I also had limited time so I had to make that in a max of four hours). With the exception of a few AWESOME nights in my first two weeks (and by awesome I mean I made of 1k tokens) I averaged about 600 tokens on nights I even got tokens. Just stay consistent, regulars will come, just be mindful of your camscore. No tokens=lower score. There is a whole thread about it in Models Only as well. Get set up and research research research, and know that you will have to trial and error what does and doesn't work for you.

As far as skype, you can make it just fine without skype but if you choose to do it, set a token amount PER MINUTE/BLOCK. If it makes you feel any better, even when my camscore was at 2k I got a guy on a slow night who "kindly" offered 20 tokens for a skype involving a long drawn out anal/cum show.... uhhhhhh no/ban.

No offense but those topics will kind of get you nowhere as a new model. 50 tokens for a flash is not too much btw, but it might be more than some people want to tip at all. As for "my goal is 2000 tokens!" Well, why would they care what your goal is? What are you offering them in exchange? Now if you were saying "Sexy strip tease in 750 tokens" then someone who only wants to tip a few tokens at first to test the waters and throw in 10 tokens and get to know you a bit while knowing that hopefully they're contributing to an ultimate goal that he'd like to see.

Those numbers are really high for someone just starting out. And Skype is one-on-one, so only one person would be able to see your show anyway.

Shower shows, shave shows, etc., can be popular in your room if you make them things that people want to see. Anything could be popular, it's all up to you and how you run your room. Watch some models, high camscore models, low camscore models and everything in between. Get a feel for how countdowns are broken down (X amount to shirt off, X amount to naked, X amount to whatever else you plan to do) and shows work and how they're priced. I mean, really put time into researching if you want to make it. And when you get model status here, read the models only section until your eyeballs feel like they're going to fall out. There's so much fantastic information there.

Ive been watching the models now for a total of 5 months, and ive seen the fluctuate their prices (goals) for each of these things. I am just wondering, how much would be fair for someone like me, who doesn't have the nest middle section of the front body to show. I am a lil cautious about my stomach and it is due to a sob story. But I am not wanting to talk about it to people. I am no longer new to MFC standards that is for certain.

When a member tips for a show, add him to your "allowed viewers" list under personal options. Then restrict your privacy under broadcasting settings to "only allow users on my allowed users list to view me". Then you can broadcast your cam and only he will be able to see you. You can do this for more than one guy, but you'll want to open a member chat room so you don't have to shuffle through PMs while you're diddling yourself.

I've been on MFC for about a month and a half now and I've noticed that you will have some lucky nights like the Sunday you're referring to and then there will be nights where a tumbleweed rolls across the screen. You just have to take it on your chin and keep going! Now I usually offer games and little teases to get to the countdown like 10 tokens to spank my ass or 30 for a tit flash. It's all up to you. But I will say that 2000 tokens for a fairly new model is a bit up there. You're new and the guys know it so they're going to lowball you as much as they can. Try 1000 a night and see how you do. Or you can do mini-shows throughout the day. You just have to take the time to build a fan base and the tokens will come rolling in, I promise. I'm still learning as I go, as well haha.

My is a low 801.1 sadly, also how does the 200 friend request work? I had pms where I talk and they tell me "added you as a friend" and im like wait how is that possibly if I was going to charge 200 tks for that? Do I just put PMs to "friends only" and if they start to say "what no PMs?" or try to haggle with me in saying "lets just PM and then you can switch it back to friends only"? I get there are a lot of "negotiations" going on the with the premiums, and some girls break their own rules cuz they wanna portray that extra sweet "just for you" image on cam and then get screwed out of 200 cuz they did that.

my hubby is a professional photographer and he is willing to help me in the pictures department (just need a new camera so I need to work hard for tokens for this equipment) , so I have read about this snapchat some of these ladies use. Has anyone on here used it? do they really delete the pics or videos that are bought after they are viewed by the buyer? Does anyone have an amazon wishlist? if so, how well does that go with your fanbase?

When they add you as a friend, that means that usually you will show up at the top of the front page of MFC and they can really just find you more easily. If THEY have PM's set to friends only, that means that you can PM them. This does not mean that they gain access to the same features they'd get if you add them to your friends list.

If you are offering to add people to YOUR friends list for tokens, then you should definitely have your PM's set to friends only. If someone tips you to be added to your friends list, you should add them and then they will be able to PM you!

I think that it sounds like it would be a good idea for you to watch a bunch of other models in your camscore range and check out their profiles and such to figure out what sort of pricing might be good for you. This doesn't mean you need to automatically copy the prices of people around there, but I think it's a good idea as far as getting some guidance. It also sort of depends on what sort of image you'd like to portray. There are a lot of different factors! I think checking out some other models and reading up on the forums will help a lot!

These are really all topics that are brought up on this forum A LOT! We enjoy helping out others but the info is really laid out for you already, you just need to search for these topics and read through to find the answers yourself. A great deal of the job of being a camgirl is doing lots and lots and LOTS of research and planning and such, so it is really best to get the hang of doing that.

Some of the answers do exist here in the public section, but it is for sure all available in the Models Only section. Amber approves models a couple times a week, so the longest you have to wait is a few days for approval (as long as you followed instructions properly)!

I know the issue with keeping your stomach covered is addressed somewhere, but I think might be pretty hard to find. I DO know of some girls who keep their belly covered and do ok, I think you just have to do it in the right way (if that makes any sense).

On MFC, a member can add anyone they would like (members/models) to their friends list. This will allow them to see if their "Friends" are online. If you are attempting to charge to "Add as a Friend" then you pretty much need to set your PMs to "Friends Only." If this is a privilege you want members to tip for--then their should be no negotiation. That said, there is no reason you need to have this as an available option or need to charge 200 tokens--it just depends on what strategy is going to work best for you.

Just as general advice, I would attempt to find reasonable prices for the actions/services you plan on doing--and then stick to your guns. Many members will try to negotiate and haggle with you, and you will have a much easier time if you refuse to negotiate at all. I feel like such negotiations are silly and unnecessary--it is a waste of your time (not to mention it's pretty rude on the member's part)--and it will only lead to more members trying to take advantage. Come up with an amount of tokens you are comfortable with (for each service you are "selling") and if members are willing to tip it, great. If not, oh well--there shouldn't be a gray area. Obviously adjustments to said prices may be necessary as you get a feel for what people are willing to tip--but do this offline when there is less pressure and time to think. Damn that's still higher than mine. I used to stay on and talk to my guys without getting tipped. I'm creeping up again slowly but I try to ignore the camscore while I focus on getting my sea legs.

I thought it would be okay since a model receiving a tip for a Skype show is okay and so is a premium member broadcasting anything that isn't "obscene" to whoever they want... I mean, that makes sense.

Definitely tell them about the friends add! Put it in with your topic. And do you mean chitchatting in PMs? Focus on your room and the chat in there if possible. Many members like to dominate your attention in PMs, and it's very easy to neglect a room.

Don't worry about not having friends- if they're nice regulars they'll understand you prefer to talk in the chatroom like most models. If they just wanted your attention for free in PM, then yeah, they'll probably leave, but it's not like they were really your friends then, right?

Just pull your top down for flashes or whatever. The great thing about camming is if you do what you enjoy most and makes you most comfortable, you'll attract members over time that like whatever it is YOU do.
