They dont have the best info on their site. I'm curious of how you make money? they say you get paid for every message, assuming theyre not new members with free tokens, so every message you get back from a guy is.. how much? and those are the messages that you get the little instant message alert, right? does that show up instantly on your pay history or does it take time to go through? how/where do you set your rates? I've googled, searched on here, and on their site, and theres either lack of info or its outdated. Also, they no longer take payoneer like MFC does? Also any other info as a beginner on mygirlfund is very appreciated. Thank you :h:

I think you are talking about the live chat messages, which are free, unless you ask them to contribute first/during. Paid messages are the messages in your inbox up top, you get paid assuming you reply within seven days of receiving the message. You get paid based on your earning percentage which is displayed on the "My Fund" page (also up top), it's displayed the lower left side of the little semi-circle graph thing. From that page, you can access your earnings history and other useful information.

MGF is a decent source for income. Yes, you get paid for every message a guy sends you. It charges them $1 dollar and I think to start with you get 55% of your earnings. It's definitely a challenge to set rates. i usually negotiate with mine. Start high and go from there if they don't want to do high. Their site is VERY VERY VERY strict about mentioning any sort of outside connections. Can't even say the word skype, kik, or another cam site without getting warning. They check all your messages and will definitely catch you. Nothing is private on that site. I still make okay income with it being an extra option though:)

I'm going to be brutally honest; after being on there for a couple years and trying to make it work I've accepted that the premise is cool and lots of the guys are sincere and great to talk to and have fun with but the company itself does not respect the girls or understand that their ambiguous TOS, rude and unresponsive support and straddling the fence on whether or not they want to be a content and caming adult site or a flirty girlfriend experience site connecting guys with sugar babies is hurting the girls bottom line and I suspect their own.

The fellows I had been talking too for a long time there were shocked at how the site had treated me and had no idea how ridiculous and nonsensical restrictions were on the girls or how some of the fine details of their policies distanced themselves from any responsibility for those policies.

Unless you're a girl next door type who wants to spend ALL her time walking the very thin line of their TOS and figuring out how to hustle adult content without talking about any of it I'd give it a wide birth and save yourself the hours and invest into caming or something else....have a nap, it's probably more fun and less hassle.

Just my 2 cents...if you can make it work and have an okay time you're a better woman than I.

My biggest issue about the site is the time investment needed for a lot of customers. Many people on there do not go on there for the sexual stuff. That's just a bonus to them. many go on there to build friendships and have someone to talk to and get to know. That is A LOT of work and time investment when you don't actually know when they will or will not spend any money.

So its more like Facebook than a porn site?

ain't nobody got time for that.

I've been on mygirlfund solely for 3.5 years. It's the best thing that ever happened to me. Yes I am one of the more established models on there but it is crazy that there's people that insult it website where you can keep 90% of what you get paid. And that doesn't even take that long to get there. It took me 1 year or less to hit the 90% payout. You can easily make at least $50,000 a year on there and more. Every year that I have been there I have doubled my Profits. I wouldn't dream of going to any other website because I feel extremely lucky that I've been able to scale things the way that I have on mygirlfund.

Is there anything similar - in form of text messages/messages and/or photos = money - that IS really good and everyone would recommend?

Wow, this kind of blew my mind! I had never heard of this before. I looked up a bunch of stuff online, but still have a lot of questions. But while this might sound like hell on Earth to some people, it sounds perfect to me to be able to get paid for texts that are not very sexual, and not even have to cam. Maybe sell a few suggestive photos that don't even include my face. I am good at the "girlfriend experience" type of stuff, and being engaging but non-sexual, or just flirty, and I much prefer typing to camming. Sometimes I really don't feel up to having to get all fixed up, and act on screen. Plus, at times my roommates are home and I would love to be able to make money just silently typing away, not having to worry about making noise. I actually have done things like this for free before chatting with people on dating sites (for sort of weird reasons, because I never actually intended to meet them and they lived in places far away from me... but once in a while I just can't sleep and like the distraction!), so even being able to make a small amount here and there when I don't feel like camming for doing basically the same thing, is enticing to me. I don't WANT to skype or FB or Twitter or email or whatever with these people, or have them buy me things on Amazon, so the rules sound great to me. The only problem I have is that I read various places that the model can get banned for the customer even writing these things to her even if she refuses him, so that sucks. And also it sounds like they got rid of direct deposit and most other pay options. But if you cash out often and read the rules very carefully, the same as on Chaturbate, at least you're likely to not lose much.

From what I can tell though, they start you out at 55 or 65% pay rate, NOT 90% as stated above. You only get that after you've made in the tens of thousands of dollars... which may be unrealistic for most models.

I have been on the site since 2015. It has been a significant enough portion of my earnings each year since then for me to feel that it was worth typing about here today, so here's a bit more info pertaining to my personal experience on the site. TL;DR is that you can probably find a way to make the site work for you, and the potential ROI is great.

If you have the patience to wade through the trash to find the treasure, it may be there. I've made great money there in the past, but my brand isn't exactly the usual for that site. I get a lot of confused guys messaging me, who make it seem like they've never heard the terms "non-nude" or "femdom" or "search engine" before. So explaining that stuff over and over can be an annoyance, but if they're paying for my single-sentence replies to their silly questions dollar by dollar, whatever. I never respond to chat requests unless previously discussed and paid for, because I personally find it to be a waste of time as it's not my only site and is not a priority to me. I sell content and keep up with old regs, sometimes I take a cam session here and there. But a positive to the site is that there are lots of different ways to work (or "hustle" oooh scandal) there, so if you want to try it, I say go for it. It sounds like your expectations are realistic enough.

For reference, my all-time earnings breakdown looks like this: 24% paid messages, 74% contributions, 0% contests, 2% cam. So yes you can absolutely make money without camming often or at all.

As for what to do when members ask for off-site contact: I screenshot and flag/report their message, reply saying that off-site contact is against site rules and that they may not bring it up again because it puts BOTH of our accounts at risk of being banned. Then I screenshot my reply too. I've never had an issue with it, but I know others have. Very few members have pushed back after this sort of reply.

My payments are sent to my US bank account via FCP global bank transfer but I may be grandfathered in or something, I haven't changed my payment method in a very long time, not sure if they still offer it but it is worth looking into. Maybe @Dan Epstein can help with informing on that part.

Hi, and thanks for looping me in. As a rule of thumb, the website takes care of the payment processor and payment gateway part. The payment solution part is where boring reps like me come in.
MGF are unique, and like every other content market place, present with an opportunity. I reckon that it’s not a dating website, which is cool by most members here. I hope this helps.

Just meant to clarify that you guys still process payments for them, as it was brought up that Payoneer does not.

True, there was a branch out in February 2017. The tricky part is that models are freelancers by nature, so the line between adult and vanilla can seem blur sometimes, which is why listening can be my best asset.
