I hate to add to the stack of issues to resolve but i am having a series of issue regarding payment since the website updated recently.
Chaterbate was in communication with me but now has seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I am concerned based on some information provided to me that my account could be compromised in someway. I have never had issues with payment on this platform until these mandatory updates of pay structure took place. The series of events were as follows.
I cashed out a payment and several days later got an email letting me know that my payment was returned. This was strange because the last 2 years i've been on the platform its been the same and unchanged.Around the same time, seemingly unrelated, i saw a notice in m dashboard about me needing to reinput my banking information due to the payment system update the website underwent. This was after submitting the payment that i expected should just go through like it had dozens of other times before with the old system. I updated all necessary information then reached out to chaterbate support.
They confirmed that the information on file hadn't matched and mentioned a set of initials that were apparently on file that i have never seen, though i had not noticed this at first because they quickly added the funds back into my cash balance to be cashed out again upon me updating all of the necessary information. I then cashed out again and this was about a bit over a week ago and i still have not received anything , and this time i have not received any kind of returned payment emails.
Since this all took place i have been trying to reach out to chaterbate support and figure out whats going on but its been radio silence unfortunately. I also looked back at the email i mentioned earlier with the mention of initials on file that didn't match the payee on file which should have been my initial's and to my shock and dismay I have never input a name that corresponds with the initials the mentioned in the email which is where my worry of potential hacking activity of some kind comes from. I am not sure how a hack would work in this case considering i have full access to my account and can see all of my payment details as i always have been able to but alas , i am a laymen in this regard.
It would just be really great if you could give the chaterbate team a nudge to take some time too look into this issue further with me. Not getting paid sucks.
