Hey wondering if anyone can help me I’m trying to sell my popper training instruction content but I know you can’t sell prohibited substances on OF so really looking for a place I can sell this sort of content and promote it on my twitter page. Help would be grateful appreciated 🙏🏾

Poppers content is really hard to sell - I believe loyalfans may be your best best right now. I remember when I was looking around Mixtrix said it was the only place she found that would allow it. And I don’t believe you can call them poppers anywhere.

Ok brilliant thanks! Thanks for getting back to me. Even if I can allude to poppers that’s fine. Attempted to on OF and basically just scrapped past getting restricted. Annoyingly I tried it because I know of other content creators who done what I tried to do so attempted it. Im thinking of possibly starting my own site and selling from there but if I’m going to just encounter the same obstacles there isn’t any point you know 🤷🏾‍♂️. I’ll look into that site much appreciated 🙏🏾

OF is very strict, don’t even bother trying with their stuff.

LF will probably eventually have to tighten up rules, if you make edgey content like this prepare to have to move - a lot.

Also look at IWC .. I know IWC used to have stuff like this they may have tightened enforcement…and maybe JFF?? For JFF you can enquire and they will be very up front with you

MV is hit and miss with substances.

OH APclips may be a safe bet too- they are very low traffic though.

My friend told me they list them under “scent fetish” lol

Ok brilliant much appreciated 🙏🏾. Yeah I think I’m going to just make my own site and do it of there because it’s classed as a prohibited substance so you’ll right it’s not likely to be accepted on most of these platforms. I will enquire with JFF those thanks 🙏🏾

Makes sense. I get the impression if you’re even alluding to it they will cover their arses.

If you go that route then make sure to check the host's TOS, most hosting companies have restrictions on what can be hosted (especially on shared hosting plans, they tend to be more lenient on dedicated servers, but they also come at a much higher cost).

If you have some basic understanding of networking and linux command line (you could learn enough to get it set up in a couple of days, then server management will be a lot of googling the things that go wrong) then you could just build your own server at home and then you dont have to deal with the TOS of another company, depending on the features you want the site to have will dictate the complexity of setting it up and how powerful of a server you'll need. You would also need to check if your ISP allows for setting up a server on a residential connection.

Getting paid is also going to be a ball ache, since that's where most of the restriction lies (not to mention you need multiple accounts like merchant account, payment gateway etc). Even going crypto you'll either need something custom coded to send the videos when payment is made (since you'll need to identify which video was purchased) or use a 3rd party payment solution which is going to have the same issues as using most other payment providers as the majority of them have pretty much the same restrictions in their TOS.

If you make your own site you may run into similar issues with whatever payment processor you decide to go with. They have the same rules for smaller sites as they do for the bigger ones. You'll also potentially run into issues with age verification laws that are coming into place in certain states and may need to ban states like Texas to protect yourself.

You may be better selling them via an email list… (this may still legally open you up to age verification issues. I require all people I do direct sales with to have a user account on some adult platform im' on so I can see that the platform thinks they're of age.. but honestly pretty sure this would not legally protect me if I got in trouble)

I sell some banned content - some I can get up but a LOT I can’t post on the majority of sites. I have developed lists of clients interested in these fetishes and I email them when I have new content. I also advertise on social media and fetish forums and such that I have this content.

Collect emails at every opportunity.

IWC doesn't allow poppers content anymore, but lots of people label it as "aromas" and get away with it. I'Ve seen people do this on c4s too but it's technically not allowed.

Lots of complexities I hadnt anticipated although I know people who could divulge into this arena for me but knowing how to manoeuvre myself has to be the only way forward but if it’s going to still lead me to barriers then it does seem viable. The age restriction thing makes so much sense. Thanks for saving me a lot of time 🙏🏾

Yeah I’m getting the impression it might sound viable but in reality feasibility seems to diminish once legality is involved. The email listing is a great idea though definitely going to utilise that and brainstorm some ideas as to verify ages but what you said makes sense for sure. Saved me a lot of time thanks. 🙏🏾

I have had my poppers content approved on LoyalFans and iWantClips by calling it Aroma. As someone else said on iWC it is now under Scent fetish mostly

aroma fetish is HILARIOUS, but if it works, it works!

regarding your own site for content disallowed on other sites, KingMarti kinda nailed it re monetization

hosting, not really an issue, there are a ton of offshore host who dgaf about any rules. anyone who has sent out DMCAs has encountered that

where he is on point is with monetization. MIDs (merchant accounts) and IPSPs (Epoch, CCBill, SegPay etc) have to follow VISA/Mastercard rules in the the jurisdiction you sign up in

there's always diff rules for a big site, or at least used to be. not sure about that anymore. war on porn is real and everyone is cracking down

3 points to try to keep this as brief as my long-winded azz can

1) not surprised about OP stringency, they seem determined to kinda place themselves as mainstream with nekkid folk rather than as a porn site

2) without a track record of high payments don't even bother trying for a MID. I got one several years back as a solo performer and it was min 10k per month in revenue, which I believe has been upped to 25k for most non-sketchy options

3) with an IPSP the revenue bar is lower, but you would be under extra scrutiny. as you'd be one site, not something like a clips site where your content would be diffused amongst a bunch of others

you can have the spiffiest site in the world but with no monetization? feel me? take Pookie et al's advice. get on platforms amenable using your penchant for 'aroma' (still laughing) content. go from there

It's not true that they dgaf about any rules, they follow the rules related to the country(s) where their servers are located.

DMCA is irrelevant... OP (I am assuming) owns the copyright to his content. The reason these offshore hosts dont comply with DMCA is because it's a usa law and and they dont have a footprint in the usa so it's not enforceable. Even with offshore servers OP would need to make sure that the content he is posting is allowed to be posted in the country where the server is located. So the TOS will still need to be checked to ensure that the content is allowed, if you pick an offshore host in a country where distribution of adult content is illegal, they wont comply with dmca but they also wont allow adult content on their servers.

there are a lot located in, not adult-friendly but in 'look the other way' places that will. perhaps bringing up copyright was unhelpful. just meant as example I figured a lot here could relate to. but no bare metal server in the Netherlands is gonna care about rules relating to content either. apologies to the OP for an unintentional side-track that's kinda weird when the question was about monetizing content

Marti, you WERE correct re processing. a site is useless w/o monetization. that's what I was getting at, agreeing with you. the card co's rule that. hence suggesting he follow the excellent advice he received

jeez. wish you the best OP
