I want to find somebody to cam with but I'm not really sure how to go about it. I'm always very careful when I'm meeting new guys just for regular dating or hooking up, but I want to find a couple of guys to just film with in a FWB sort of arrangement. I'm not sure how to aim for that though since there's also the issue of not broadcasting to the world the fact that I stream. I don't care if people know what I'm doing (and most of my friends know I've at least dabbled) but I know it can become a safety issue. I wish I could just post on OKC or Tinder or something that I'm looking for a FWB to film with but then I feel like that could invite some safety issues. Does anybody have tips or has anyone else gone out to specifically find a work partner before? I feel like the main issue here is that as an adult entertainer I always hear about how we're supposed to keep our location secret, but I'm not sure how I could guarantee that with someone I don't know very well, and I don't want to spend months getting to know someone before I trust them to make stuff with me. Would it be safe enough if we just did stuff at his place while I got to know him?

My first thought is to look into guys who cam and shoot content. Check out a few of their videos and broadcasts then reach out if you feel like its somebody you'd be interested to shoot with.

I like that idea in theory but I'm not sure how I'd find someone in my area. I can't really travel and if someone has their actual, exact location listed on their profile I'm going to question whether or not I'd want to actually work with them. But now you've got me thinking about how ManyVids lets you link to your FetLife account. I'm not really familiar with that site beyond the fact that I've tried using a few times over the years and it never seems to have enough traffic to actually be useful. Maybe that's another place I could try though?

Yea, depending on where you live and since you can't travel that may make it a bit more difficult but not impossible. Plenty of female models have made lengthy trips to visit/shoot with each other so maybe he could travel to your city. Im def no help with fetlife but seeing as it a sex friendly environment I would think that would be a better option than say, craigslist.

Definitely check out conventions and networking with who is going. A lot of models shoot together networking at or before these events.

no real input but my husband and I joke all the time that we need a camera man...I hear studios are a thing...do you have any in your area? or maybe you could do l ike a yellow page/craigslist search for male cams in your area? and like above watch and see if any interest you?

Thanks everyone. I think there are a lot of good ideas here. I'll see if anyone filming in my city or in nearby cities would like to drive to me for a shoot. I never thought of studios or network events. I'll have to see if there's anything like that around here. Probably is.

I would love to use Craigslist personals for this. I wish CL hadn't gotten rid of those. That used to be my favorite hookup site!

Im wondering the same thing. Ill bet its 1000 times harder for guys to get this done though. Please keep us updated with your progress. And good luck.

Sometimes I've thought about the other way through, how to look for a girl without looking as a creep. I think it is harder for guys IMO

I found my most recent filming partner on Craigslist right before the personals got taken down - I had to weed through something like 175 responses, but I found one quality dude.

I'm having to calibrate him a bit since he's never filmed before, but I'm super into making authentic, intimate, non-performative porn so that's what I was looking for...

I've also had good luck with dating apps like Tinder - I just mention in my profile something vague like "Getting scantily clad on the internet pays the bills" and usually the guys who right-swipe are at least open to the idea of filming together; from there I move the conversation off app (to kik or snapchat or something), unmatch with them so they can't get me banned if I wind up rejecting them and they get butthurt and proceed to chat with them to see if they're what I'm looking for.

Either way, if you're not approaching professional guys you're going to have to weed through so much bullshit to get to a good filming partner...but it's a good way to find guys who are open to being molded a bit.

And regarding security - I just don't tell them my actual location or real name. If you can afford it film the first couple times in a hotel room or something so that you're not disclosing where you live or see if you can film at their place until you're comfortable.

Oh, and if you're meeting someone new always have a safe call or someone to check in with. Don't do bondage until you trust them and make a point of meeting in public - I do the first meeting very professionally with a list of questions, interview-style, to make sure they understand I'm not looking to date - at least once before agreeing to do anything privately.

If you can get a copy of their ID before meeting privately (say it's for paperwork or something and get them to text you one) google the hell of out them to make sure they don't have any violent convictions / sex offender registry / etc.

Okay, I'm done with mom-mode now. :D

You can probably still use Craigslist - I see skeevy cam studios and producers posting in the "TV and Video" or whatever it's called section.
