How does it come that on the main page on CB the models have 1000+ anonymous users

lol I would say they bought views? maybe? I mean you can do that in YouTube. It's fishy and it works but that doesn't guarantee you'll make money since they're just bots. lol

So maybe some do it with the hopes some actual humans will be deceived by this and start tipping?

:) Maybe ~

But still that wouldn't help them much, IMO.

How in the heck does someone buy traffic on chaturbate? Lol

I think there is an option on cb itself (not 100% sure) but there is also diva traffic... I don't know how it works though

Might just be that people think they're hot.
Sure, just it seems too shady to me because it happens often that they stream now and after 2 minutes they have already thousands anonymous users that watch them (quite impossible also for the hottest girl in the world)

It's still not fair for the models who doesn't use paid bots to have more traffic in their rooms.
This way who pays for traffic will be always on the main page (and probably will have also more real viwers) and who doesn't do it will still be on the latest pages and have 20-30 users (mostly greys).
Let's be honest: people search models maybe from page 1 to page 3-4.

I am not saying that because of the number of viwers, but because this way it's more difficult to make money for models who does not use paid traffic.

Only the number of registered users in the room counts for the position on cb.
On CB the other night, before I logged in, the “recommended” broadcasters were a mix of one that had 18,000+ users and then a couple with less than 100. The rest of the first page was a mix that had thousands of users to 1 that only had 8. Then once I logged in & all the broadcasters were shuffled but still the same strange mix or high & low user count. I’ve landed on page 1 before a few times(my users let me know), but had no clue why. My room count has never been in multiple thousands. I thought it was based off of registered users too, until I started seeing models with only a couple users hitting page 1.

I do not know how the recommended chat rooms work. For these there is another system than registered users in the room how they get to the front page but I do not know it.
I do not think the op meant the recommended rooms though.

Recommended might be ones that have tags you normally look at or search for

Another CB mystery. After a year some popular models who get hundreds of users in their room only have maybe 30,000-40,000 followers while some who don't get as many viewers after a year have hundreds of thousands of followers.

True! I have seen one that a month ago (1 MONTH) had 73,000 followers and now has 140,000 followers. I think those are bots too, because everyday when she streams she "gains" 2000 or 3000 followers.

Oh yes, and, just saying, the same model I was talking about everyday has something like 6000 viewers (300 registered users and the rest anonymous). Once she had 20,000 viewers (1500 registered users and the rest anonymous lol obviously all bots). She was the only one on CB with more than 6000 viewers.

Also a quick look at these models says that being a Russian model greatly increases your ability to reach 100,000 followers even when you're struggling to get 200 viewers in your room every day (with only a dozen non-anonymous and non-gray users).

Regarding the followers it is possible to gain 100.000 followers within 1 year and it is pretty easy.
Just tweet as soon as you go online and use the right promoters i created last year july an account for a model on twitter and maintained it for her if i recall good she reached 100.000 followers end december/early january.
just keep retweeting all tweets you are mentioned in

If I’m not mistake I was under the impression that it was the amount of tokens per minute that bumped your feed higher up on chaturbate. I thought that’s why people would also do “yellow walls” to try and help get more viewers. I could be wrong, but it sounds right to me lol

What i noticed it is amount of viewers that get you to the top 50 after that you go up by tipping

CB rank is purely based on viewer count. MFC is where it's based on tokens per hour. Yellow walls are just fun.

This thread is full of ignorant people xD

1) Placement on your own gender tab goes by the contest (raw number of registered users watching) BUT placement on the featured tab goes by a blend of registered users and tips. Which means that even if you have the most registered viewers watching you if you are making nil, you wont be the top cam on the featured tab. You will be on the top 2 rows, but the placement will depend on how well you are doing tipwise.

2) Chaturbate has an affiliate program that works like a charm and so everyone uses it. Chaturbate as a sponsor offers some ready-made promotion materials to their affiliates in the shape of pop-ups and banners, you have seen them if you have visited porntubes or any big site that promotes CB. In these promotional materials the cams that are displayed are the top contest cams, meaning, the cams that have the most registered viewers watching at any given time. Why? Because even if there isn't good tokenflow those cams grab attention and that's what they want to display in a banner. There are banners for the top 10 cams, top 3, top 2) and then there are pop-ups with the top cam.

3) These banners and pop-ups are displayed on thousands of sites and so there are thousands of people who have the top 10, top 3, top 2 or #1 cam open in a pop-up or a banner without noticing. Basically every time you are watching a video on a porntube and there is a CB banner on the side or at the bottom that you aren't paying attention to, you COUNT AS AN ANONYMOUS VIEWER FOR THAT MODEL. That's where all the anonymous users come from. It's not bots. It's people who have it running in the background and who are for the most part, not watching.

You are welcome.

I dont think there is any mystery about it at all.. cam sites generate money, so anything that helps generate it in larger quantities is allowed, even if comes to exploitation. They can always put shit in some "Agreements.." or whatever and be protected and cool with it. After all only one thing counts and thats cash, no matter how achieved.

The cam sites especially Chaturbate evolved so much and models are not prepared to move on next level, to use more advanced technique beside of logitech 920, to learn more about camming industry- management, marketing, accountancy, psychology, self development etc. That's why so many mystery and questions on here why the top models have over 20k-25k viewers...
Lenin's quote is LEARN, LEARN, LEARN , so you need to get off yo ass and just GOOOOO !!!!!!!!!

Here is a visual example of what I was talking about. In this screencap of the “featured” tab the highlighted model is the #1 contest cam with the most registered users watching (13000+ total viewers) but since she is not making almost any tips at all, she is at the end of the first row. The top cam on the “featured” tab has 1600 viewers but good tokenflow
