If you're talking about Amazon, never ever ever use your home address. Ever. Not even with a fake name, not even if you use the trick to hide your city from showing on the wish list page. Eventually Amazon will give your name and address to a gift buyer; assume that will happen rather than hope that it doesn't.

If you're adamant about having a wishlist, pay for a PO box or mail receiving place where you can use an alias. Ideally somewhere not in your town (so if you live in Kansas City, members aren't seeing Kansas City on your address), and don't tweet or say in your room "going to get my packages tomorrow!"

Err on the side of being too paranoid because how bad would you feel if a creeper found your house solely because you were loose with your privacy on a wishlist site of all places.

Also, guys can easily make it look like they've bought you a gift when they haven't. If someone sends you a gift and wants videos or something for it, don't send the videos until the gift has arrived.

I wonder how safe deliverycode is?
  • some one still has to deliver the package.
  • police can still get the address
  • their service could get hacked
  • deliverycode has staff

How it works is: Sender makes purchase through Delivery Code. Delivery Code then orders the item from the website it's on (Amazon, Sephora, wherever), with the recipient's info as the delivery address. The site the product is on does its thing.

Delivery Code was designed with sex workers in mind, so they're very careful and secure with regards to our information.

Who else would Delivery Code appeal to besides sex workers?

I honestly have heard some crappy stuff about delivery code and wouldn't recommend it unless you are absolutely hell bent on having a wish list. Even then some of the buisness practices I've seen spoken about left a bad taste in my mouth
--items may take forever to ship
--a fairly big processing fee members may be turned off to
--payments models received being extremely late
--Not good on updates when items ship/are in stock
-- not very good model support customer service

Just some things models on the forum have been through that I've seen posted.
I recommend either going the P.O box route or getting giftcards.

How much is the processing fee?

I can't remember exactly but somewhere around $10 and up depeding on the item I think. Which doesn't seem like so much looking at it, but if I were a member it would annoy me having fees like that over an item you can buy regularly priced off a wishlist or through a giftcard
