How can I support my SO if she ever decides to cam again (what are some good secure sites for her to use if she does) and how to deal with potential fallout if people find out or an old client finds her? She was let go from her old site (ImLive) on the same day she found out she had to leave the country and (sprained ankle from an accident in the bathroom after roommate left the water on the floor) and I know she loved working cams (dressing up and hanging with her friends mostly) and I’m fine with it as long as our boundaries are maintained and been wondering how I could support her doing this when a bad client happens and such. I also would like to know how I can help her if an old client finds her or she gets exposed to our families or what not? I just want to treat her right and make sure I do the most I can to protect and take care of her. I love her and I don’t want to add stress to her life but lessen it when I can.

Also, any advice on how to interact with other models in public or private would be appreciated as well as any unwritten rules I may need to follow with other models or workers would be helpful as well.

She may have already. I know she has friends in the business (top one is her bestie and at least she’s be more that I’ve been introduced too). I’ll see if she’s on here first and see what she thinks about joining. Right now she’s trying to help her bestie with a stalker ex (and bad client) and helping raise her numbers. I’ll let you guys know what she says.

Do you know how secure Onlyfans is with their video content?

This.

Also, you could've merged the details from your other thread (https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/t...the-emotions-from-that-while-she-works.42417/) here. So your SO's friend currently is a cam model, and your SO is considering camming again, right? Tell both of them about this forum.

And, of course, respect the fact that your SO may not always feel like giving you a daily rundown of the specifics of her job from that day, and that's perfectly fine and normal. Don't badger her into giving you the juicy details about what all she did in her shows today, but be supportive and listen to her when she does feel like discussing it. And you need to have her back when judgmental people start doing that slut-shaming crap, even if those people do wind up being your own friends and family.

That’s fine I already had to deal with some issues with my parents about her (situation outside of her job) and I have no problem handling bullshit like that. I got my girlfriend’s back and she knows it. As for the support that makes sense and we started when she was working and I had to calm her down after a bad client triggered her PTSD.

Would it be a good idea for me to be close by to help with bad clients or give her space and let her call me if she needs help or support? I just want to make sure she knows she’s safe and nobody hurts her.

Not secure at all.

There is no security in online sex work. Videos will be stolen, put online. With onlygans it's very easy to do this. Don't be fooled by stream only options they're all easy to work around.

That’s good to know. My SO has very good reasons (abusive EXs and step dad) to want to keep her content safe. That’s why she worked where she did (ImLive) because she was told they were secure and video sharing couldn’t happen. Hopefully, nothing shows up online somewhere.

I would like to thank you guys for your input on this as I’m newish to this world and want to help and support my partner the best I can and make sure she stays safe as possible if she pursues this again in the future.

No. PLEASE don't stay in the room with her while she's camming unless she actually tells you that she wants the two of you to cam together as a couple. And if that's the case, then you BOTH will need to get yourselves verified as a cam couple. Otherwise, as a solo cam model you need to give her space, and not be that guy who's ready to fight any man who tells her she's sexy as fuck. She has the freedom to ban abusive members also. You do not need to be in the room with her while she's camming. And besides that, on some sites she can get banned for you being in the room or your voice being heard in the room. Let her do her thing, and if camming winds up being too much for her, there's nothing wrong with admitting that, and finding other work to do instead. There are so many other work from home options nowadays. Phone sex...clips...texting...as well as other non-adult work from home jobs.

I was thinking outside the room, but point taken and is why I asked so I wouldn’t sound stupid bringing it up with her. We are currently looking into that right now since current circumstances would be feasible for her to go back into it. This more for when things stabilize for her and if she wanted to do it again. I just want to be prepared to help her if she makes that decision.

Read that thread that Miss_Lollipop linked you to, and remember what I said about other jobs too. And even on a site like ImLive, some of these guys that she's doing private shows with could be recording her. You just don't know.

Since you mentioned that she's worried about people finding videos of her, forget what I said about making clips for sale. Something like phone sex could possibly be more up her alley, since there are tons of women who do phone sex and never show their face at all in their listings. And if she decides she needs to make up a little lie to tell family members, she could just say that she does live chat (Not really a lie). There are work from home jobs where people get to paid to log onto certain platforms to tutor "students" in China and other areas...or get paid to simply have regular conversations with people who want to practice their English speaking. And you can choose your own hours, and work as little as you want.

Thanks, I’ll pass it on to her when she’s free. Right now she’s trying to help her bestie get some traffic To her site without having to worry about the friend stalker ex
