I'm not sure if this thread will hold anyone's interest. I personally have become fond of listening to a few hours of radio a week. I thought I might start by adding some clips of favorites of mine. What I can find on youtube I will post as youtube vid. What I can't, I will have to just post an address. What I have in mind are some things I find very funny. The clips run as long as 10-15 min. My worry is that no one will feel they have that much time to burn on an audio file.
My sales pitch is this, 'if you are spending an hour or two here doing what ever feels important to you, is 15 min more for a good bit of humor not worth it? Humor, not jokes or comedy, (which are great), humor, the stuff that leaves you with a little something, after the laughter has left.
The first two are stories by David Sedaris. The first I found as a youtube vid.
The second is The Youth in Asia And can be found here. It is just over 16 min but well worth the listen, IMO

The next a <4min youtube clip of a segment from the Weekly NPR radio program,'Wait, wait, don't tell me.'
If you liked the above clip. you really should listen to the< 4 min of round 2 that starts 2 minutes into that round. It is hilarious Paula Poundstone http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlaye ... 11-17-2007
