Hello guys. I have been camming for 2 years and I have all the equipment. I used to make a consistent income until december/october of last year, and January/february was terrible. I literally made 0 to 50$ weekly. Streamate was my main site. I have tried other sites like cam4, and old stripchat account with 2k followers and made 0$. I'm on cb and amateurtv (spanish site) and still do not make the same consistent income. I lose motivation, stop working, and even more broke. I make 0$ most days on cb. This job was super great, loved it, paid bills and saved. Now I might become homeless if I keep like this. I'm so sad and frustrated. I don't know what to do. Might try streaming more sites, etc. I have tried almost everything and I'm getting exhausted. I dislike multistreaming lol

Idk what’s going on right now but things have changed drastically over the past month. The mods on the camgirlproblems subreddit delete posts if you even mention that it’s slow which just adds to the weirdness of it all. I know my state has changed the rules on porn so now you have to upload your ID and I think that’s causing more men to bail out. Check your state laws.

And to be clear- I fully support keeping porn away from kids and idc what anyone says, I just didn’t anticipate it being this bad.

Because not everyone is slow. It can be super discouraging for those w anxiety to read? Things can get very, very negative, angry and toxic, very, very fast. Which then tends to feed on itself and become a self-perpetuating type prophecy thing/ downward spiral. Which really doesn't help anyone, even the person "venting". Also; not everyone who says they are slow, are actually slow. Some models put out false info to discourage the competition. It's a well known tactic . I would have thought those of you who follow sports would intuitively get that? Same thing.

Camming can be a ruthless business. I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it.

I fully support keeping porn away from kids and idc what anyone says, I just didn’t anticipate it being this bad.

Kids are tech savvy and curious. If they want to find porn they will find porn. The best thing to do is for parents to educate their kids. There's also a lot of worse thing to see than porn that they can easily see on the internet that no one is putting age checks on. These laws are not doing what they are claiming to be designed for, these laws only real purpose and only real result is hurting sex workers.

Hello lovelylomonpie, try to work smarter not neccesary harder even though camming is a very hard job in my opinion. Use for ex shinemodel browser to stream on 6 sites from a single window, open 1-2-3 more sites beside shinemodel fill your screen with windows, I know is hard to focus on them all but just to test things out for while to figure it out wich sites are working better for you. Try to reserver 1-2 hours per day to bring your own possible customers from social media... make social media accounts with your stage name twitter, reddit, instagram, etc.. and be active post 2-3 times per day minimum. You will see that in time, around 3 months at most things will get much better.
