I need help understanding the phone feature in streammate?

Hi guys
I've been wanting to set this up for awhile but I need help first.
Does the model get charged extra for international calls?
Do you need unlimited minutes on your cell or what cell phone plan do you need?

These are the questions I would like answering. Thank you

Edit: I think I am on the "share everything" plan that offers unlimited local-calls, would this plan work with streamate or would I get charged?

Hi.

I'm not in the U.S. either, nor do I have unlimited calling or data usage on my cell plan. I use an app on my iPhone with a U.S. number. Since I'm at home, my cell phone connects to my wifi, and I'm not charged anything for data usage. I always have the phone option enabled on Streamate, but only get a few calls a week. It does take a few moments to connect, and it's sometimes glitchy, but I don't think that has anything to do with my set-up.
