@punker barbie Can you please help me? I have some very strange things going on with my CB account and I can't get answers from Support to any of my questions.
I tried to cam on Chaturbate and I made a mistake in the way I answered some guy asking me about an offline payment. It was only my 3rd day and I didn't really understand what the guy was asking. But I was suspended for 5 days, and my promotion expired. I was so upset that I cried, and I tried pleading ignorance but at the time I didn't even know what I had done wrong.
- Strange thing #1 - The account was suspended for 7 days, even though I was told 5 days by Support.
I just decided to stop doing it. I wasn't sure it was a life I wanted to continue. I'm still not sure I would try again somewhere else unless I was desperate for money.
At one point, I visited a model and was able to tip. I only tipped 1 token to tell her how sexy I thought she was.
Then somewhere along the way I got a VPN client for my PC and I accessed my account while using it. Other times I use my phone. I tried changing the password or some other setting, and this caused my account to get locked. I guess there was some belief that my account had been hacked.
After verification, I tried to tip again and I couldn't. The account was messed up somehow. I did what the message said and contacted Support.
- Strange thing #2 - "Because it appears there are new IPs accessing your account and that your account was previously marked as hacked, you will need to complete the following process to confirm your identity. After confirming your identity, you will be able to input your personal payment information and receive your first payment."
Through all this I got busy with my real job, and it was the holidays, and I didn't bother to enter payment info earlier. I had earned over 12K tokens in 3 days, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to have income from a porn site on my taxes. I was thinking to just enjoy the site when I had time and tip all the tokens away.
I went through all that mess of upside down IDs, again. It seems that I had missed a challenge email from support along the way, while I was busy.
- Strange thing #3 - After doing the verification as directed, I still could not tip.
The reply to my verification had said "Thank you for the image. You are now able to login and input your personal payment information to receive your first payment."
I never read that to mean it was my only option. When I couldn't tip after verification, I wrote support again asking why.
- Strange thing #4 - "As noted in the prior email, you will need to input your personal payment information"
I didn't understand why that was needed to tip, but I did that too.
- Strange thing #5 - I still could not tip. And even stranger, I could not convert tokens to cash either.
I wrote again on the 12th, and asked why. No reply. Tried to convert again on the 13th, failed, wrote again. No reply.
Tried to convert again on the 15th, and wrote again "My account is .... I've tried three times now to transfer my tokens to cash. There is something wrong. I couldn't tip tokens and now I can't transfer them to my bank account. Will someone please help me before the end of the day? I don't want to miss the deadline to get my money. Thanks"
- Strange thing #6 - At 3:15pm US EDT on the 16th I receive this "Congrats! Your first payment has been converted and will be sent on our next payout date"
No other replies to my questions about why I couldn't tip. And it seems now, because they didn't take action until the 16th, I need to wait who knows how long after the 31st to get my money.
After a few days, I went to the site and realized by chatting in a room that my account was grey. I thought that maybe that was why I might be having problems. I really don't understand this site anyway, but I decided to test that. I bought 100 tokens for $10.99 with my debit card. I wrote in a chat and checked to see I was no longer grey.
- Strange thing #7 - I still could not tip.
I wrote again on the 22nd asking why. No response.
Still hadn't gotten my money, I wrote another email on the 24th at 10:15am US EDT. Different subject. I was very frustrated at this point. Here is what I wrote.
Is this payment on it’s way or was it delayed, by the issues you created in my account, until the second half of the month?
It doesn’t seem fair that I should wait an extra 16 days when I contacted you on 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 15 January about the issues with my account ----- not being able to tip or convert tokens.
These Support response times are so slow. I want my money. And I want my account fixed, as I requested 2 days ago now.
Why can’t you help me or respond in a single day? It’s always 2 or more days before I hear back from you.


- Strange thing #8 - I checked my account tonight and saw that my token count was 0.
I checked token history and found these two entries.
Jan 22, 2024, 10:28 PM Tokens purchased 100 100
Jan 24, 2024, 10:53 AM Payment was credited -100 0


- Strange thing #9 - Action was taken in 38 minutes, which was shocking to see based on the slow replies I have gotten so far. But I received no response from Support?

I am completely lost at this point. I have had nothing but problems with this site. I started searching and I found something about this forum, and I figured I would try asking here. I am totally confused about why this has happened, why I can't get answers, and why it seems that I am being punished repeatedly. I'm not sure if I am being paid or not, but I suspect that my tokens are just going to disappear into the air. If if if I get paid, I am going to have a 1099 now because it was over $600. I didn't really want that at all, but now I just want to get the money. I don't want to stop that if it's begun and make more delays.

Even if I wanted to cam again, I will never do it on CB. It's just not a reliable place. I could never have my income, even part time income, depend on a site that works like this.
Maybe some of these things aren't strange to people with more experience than me. I just can't believe this is normal.
@punker barbie I'm sorry this was such a long message. I'm still able to login and access the broadcast area. If there is some setting or whatever that I need to look at, let me know please. If there is anything you can do to get me answers about what happened to my account and my money, I would be thankful. I am so frustrated that any help would be great. 🙏

I guess not. And I could not find a ticket number anywhere. And there were several. The name is krissyfit.
I received a payment with this note but no email from Support. No idea what they mean by early paycheck since I'm not their employee.

I'm not sure if you had anything to do with making this happen @punker barbie, but thank you if you did. I still have no idea whether my account is fixed, or what is the problem. It seems CB just doesn't care to answer me.

Strange thing #10 - I can still login and access the account, the broadcast area, and talk in chat.

This whole thing has been a headache from the start. I was treated so unfairly. The lack of communication and lack of details when they do, long delays, no answers or ignoring questions... it's not what I expect from a customer support team. I can't believe that all the other sites work this way. From things I read online before and after I made my account here, it feels like CB is the enemy of broadcasters. Theres always complaints, but the number of them is very high. There are people in twitter, reddit, quora, here and elsewhere suggesting that they protect their stars and have made it harder over years for new broadcasters to succeed on the site. Some of those are long time broadcasters who say they do well there.

I'm not an 18 year old still in school. I've been in the business world. This behavior feels like lawyers are running things. Not sure why the management can't see that as a problem. When lawyers run businesses instead of leaders, a company loses its soul.

@punker barbie why I haven't heard back from you? I'm busy working, so I don't check in on this frequently. And I'm not broadcasting, so once I got my money this isn't a big thing for me. But I am annoyed and still want to know why I have no reply from Support regarding this strangeness? Why wouldn't I be allowed to cash out on my own, or buy tokens, or send a tip? I tipped before. What changed? I know it's not normal. What did I do to be treated like this?

Well, now the site has also silenced my account? I didn't know that was even possible, but I can't chat in any room!
This is bullshit! WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO WRONG @punker barbie ???

If I did something so wrong, why isn't the account banned/suspended? This is making no sense!

If you are abusive to support they will ban you permanently.
But I'm not banned... that's the thing. They have done everything except ban me... and no responses as to why.

I can still login and still enter the broadcast area. IDK what is going on.

And it seems that @punker barbie has no interest in answering me either. So much for Chaturbate. Nothing but headaches. And from what I'm reading all over the net... I'm not alone.

There's someone in X saying that CB has a preferred set of models that they promote there. It does looks like they advertise the same rooms over and over in their X posts.

Are these platforms regulated in any way at all? If I were making a lot of money, which I never had the chance to find out, I would want to take them to court if they did something like this.

There's someone in X saying that CB has a preferred set of models that they promote there. It does looks like they advertise the same rooms over and over in their X posts.
It's more like those models are promoting themselves and CB is retweeting them. It's not a conspiracy against less popular models. CB doesn't shadowban, either.

Support can't give an answer if they don't have an answer. I know you are frustrated and I understand. I've had issues myself but patience was needed and eventually it gets worked out. There are thousands upon thousands of emails sent to support every week. You're in a queue and the more you email them the further down the line you're placed because it starts the process all over again.

Not sure how you know that for sure. These people don't seem to be very forthcoming with info. Are you a current or former Chaturbate employee?
Support can't give an answer if they don't have an answer.
I have no idea what that means. Support is where I'm supposed to go to get the answer, isn't it? Please tell me if I'm doing this wrong.

There has to be millions of dollars going through this site every day. How is it possible that they allow Support to remain so understaffed? How does a business function like that? All I see is dysfunction.
You're in a queue and the more you email them the further down the line you're placed because it starts the process all over again.
Well, I sent them my latest message on 3 Feb. Before that 22 Jan.
I think it's fair to think that they are intentionally not responding. Especially with all the other weirdness, and with @punker barbie ignoring this thread.
I received an automatic reply on 22 Jan and 3 Feb, so I know they got them.
If the 22 Jan message put me to the back of the line - can't imagine why it would work that way - two weeks wasn't enough? Then they have more issues than I care to know.
The last response I received was16 Jan - notification that I would be paid. Never told me it would be ahead of the end of the month. That note just showed up in the payment itself.
If this were my only way to earn money, I would be screwed.
