Not to say it's not a good idea, but it does have potential trade offs that may be worth it for some models depending on their style.
Good point... I always figured it would be better to keep only those individuals who have the willingness to pay, and to trust that the right people would find their way into my orbit over time

This is an important insight. These webcam girl tube sites are low-budget operations that only target free content. If I were a cam girl and I wanted to prevent my stolen streams from displaying full nudity, I would run one of the bots on CB that supports hidden shows and put all of my token menu flashes into a popup hidden show. You could even create a 1 token paywall for other viewers to see the flash. A 1 token paywall is all it would take to leave the tube sites blind, and your stolen streams would no longer contain the flashes you did during your show.

Doing that will kill traffic as it moves your room to the Spy Shows page

Got any particular apps or bots you would recommend for accomplishing this task? Thus far, I've only used CrazyTicket Bot, but I wonder if there are others I ought to consider...

CrazyTicket is very labor intensive for the kind of ad hoc hidden show I am suggesting.

Dream Bot++
My Secret Show
Hidden Cam Show 2

would be three that implement quick on the fly hidden shows.

For a 30 second flash, it is not an important point. If you are on the top of page one, you have special considerations. For 98% of all models, stuck on page three or higher, that 30 seconds is not going to translate into an audience penalty.

It's definitely an option a person concerned with piracy could take. You're right that even a single token would be enough to deter bots. Unfortunately, the single token is also enough to deter a significant number of viewers. With changes in CB algorithm, uncertainty in how page rank is decided (I believe it is a mixture between total tokens held by members in the room and total registered viewers), I am willing to put up with some piracy in exchange for potentially better page rankings. From a psychological standpoint, even if these tokenless users aren't counting toward page rank, a room with hundreds of users, 90% of whom are tokenless, looks more appealing to a non-critical member on the surface as compared to a room of a few dozen who all hold tokens. Not to say it's not a good idea, but it does have potential trade offs that may be worth it for some models depending on their style.

This is something you test, and then you look at your own personal values and concerns, and you make your own decision.

Most models I follow have fewer than 100 viewers and get 90% of their revenues for the day from fewer than five viewers. Most of these hidden show apps can be configured so that anyone sending you more than N tokens for the day is automatically added to the show list. Make N <= 20 and your important customers will not even know you are in a hidden show. They just transport in with you as you change modes, transparently. If what you care about is making another 10% gross revenue, then you probably have a point. If what you care about more is that your children or parents will not some day find your videos doing extremely explicit sex shows recorded online, then you might choose a different path. It all depends on what you value the most.

Models chasing the first page of the CB website care a lot about total viewers, and anything that affects placement in the most minute way can affect revenues greatly. Models buried on page eight of the website - *IF* they make their money from regular customers - are pretty immune to whether there are 400 grey users who want a free show in the room. What is your new customer acquisition strategy? One valid way is to seek higher placement on the site. But that brings in freeloaders along with payers. Another way to acquire paying customers might be to do things like make your spy rate 6 tokens. That brings in only paying customers - many of whom will be new customers who were browsing through the small list of spy shows - and it does not rely on website placement. Again, these are things you can test.

Is there a way one could do this and not end up being on porn hub or similar sites?

Probably a stupid question and might get some beaks but gunna ask anyway lol
Actually there is a proven legal loophole you can use . Send all the major porn providers a letter asking that your image not be viewed there . Porn celebrities use this method so there newest movies aren’t spread all over for free the same day it’s released.
