I did try googling it but that's not a reliable way of finding out something so current. Twitter didn't turn up any clues either. I was wondering if it was my VPN connection rather than a wider issue. That has happened before.

There are lots of good and reliable websites that you input an URL into and search, it will let you know if it's down or not, or if it's just you.
One of those is posted above by @KingMarti

Literally just google "is [site name] down for everyone" and it will show lots of websites to use.

I just checked if it's loading, just tried uploading something with a teaser upload and it looks like its hanging on "creating teaser"
