Is streaming on mobile more preferred for Stripchat?

I am currently multistreaming right now and want to just only stream on Stripchat. I have ability to do both mobile or PC streaming. I have done both when I used to stream on Camsoda and I don’t mind doing either or. I did some research the other day and noticed a lot of people say Stripchat prefers models stream thought mobile. I was wondering if that was true? Thank you!

No it is not. Anytime you use wifi to broadcast you have a possibility of a poor connection. I use a computer as a member and avoid models using a cell phone because I have 53 inch monitor and looking at a small cell phone size screen is useless.. A computer/laptop with a wired connection to your router is the most stable.

I've noticed a lot of models stream from their phones and wonder if there were too many models doing it. I notice as well when I stream from my PC I get more viewers. I have a gaming PC connected to Ethernet. I am also able to stream from 1080p on my PC. Maybe that is why? Thank you for your input!

It really boils down to a personal preference for the models, but we do have a special category for models who stream mobile, so there is a bit of extra exposure to the models who take that route.

Having said that, some models prefer streaming from a desktop / laptop as the screen is bigger, it is easier to chat, and everything is a bit easier to navigate. Other models prefer mobile as they can then take their broadcast anywhere, including outdoors (just be careful not to show unregistered people in the background). Also, mobiles tend to already have decent cameras, plus you get the extra exposure in our mobile streaming category. Additionally, if you stream outdoors, you will automatically appear in the outdoor category as well which can also bring additional traffic.
