I know its old news, but I just learned about it so yeah...
Just wondering, what your opinions are on the whole scandal that was exposed. How much responsibility (if any) does the BBC have to share in it?

If the BBC knew about and covered it up for 30 odd years (essentially allowing him to continue to do it in the process) then a lot of it falls on their shoulders. And by "their" I mean the few people who were in a position to do something about it but chose not to in order to preserve Saville's 'brand' and thus his usefulness to them as a company. :twocents-02cents:

I grew up here during the 80s and he always came across as a creepy wierdo.
I never understood why people thought he was such a nice guy.
It came as no surprise at all when it all came out. There are some people who need to answer for it though, BBC included.
