I got into a new relationship with someone I've known for about a year now, while talking extensively about my camming and how it might be difficult for both of us. He said he was very okay with it and that he'd support me. I've exposed him to my content and the responses it gets, fully expecting him to backtrack on that statement because...men. But, to my surprise, he's ACTUALLY okay with it. My ex told me that I was addicted to sex (wtf) when I mentioned anything close to this and now...I feel like I've hit the jackpot. 😄

What role/place does camming have in your relationships? Any tips to keep it running smoothly on my end?

Sounds great!
If I might be so bold to give you an advice: Keep talking about it! Even if he said that he is ok with it, don't think that the matter is closed forever. Jealousy comes in different forms and even the person being jealous doesn't realize it until it's too late. Also a bit of jealousy is normal and can be healthy IMO. In the beginning of a relationship everything is easy, so its good to check from time to time (not too often of course)

If my GF would be a cam model, I'm pretty sure that I would respect and support that. But it wouldn't be the easiest thing if I'm completely honest. Generally I would want her to do what ever she wants and what makes her happy. But I would appreciate an up front communication about her job and the feelings, fears, problems etc connected to that. That would make it way easier for me.

I'm happy for you!
Most of my boyfriends were fine with it - most were also younger than me. I think Gen Z is generally more accepting.
I always tell them before we get into a relationship. Usually it will be a few weeks. I remind them that it won't make me uncomfortable if they don't like my job before I say what it is, so they can feel safe expressing how they really feel.

I wouldn't recommend dating someone who shows any kind of hesitancy on your job; as you've probably experienced, being shamed for something you enjoy by the one you like isn't fun. There *are* men out there who accept what you do, so don't settle for less. I take it as a solid sign if there's questions about my job from the get-go. I can talk about it for hours with someone who's interested in the industry, and many people find it a "mysterious" one!

Open communication and check-ins are very important. A simple "how do you feel about my job?" can be enough. "What do/don't you like about it?"

I was lucky enough to find two men in particular who could talk about it like we were talking about the weather. I could go to them for support about business changes before I made them and find encouragement - one would even push me to raise my prices! The other would make a toast (with soda, not alcohol) and do a for-fun small speech every time I moved up 1% on Onlyfans. They've each set the bar very high and I'm grateful to have seen it with my own eyes :inlove: Good, fun, encouraging boyfriend experiences are possible!
