Length of private shows

I've seen references and some complaints about very short shows, 5 minutes or less.
I'm curious as to what the average length of private/exclusive shows are for you and what you consider an acceptable length to be.
How long before you no longer consider it as short? What's a good length for you?

I guess you could say that when I look over and see that I've made enough tokens to request payout (On MFC that's 400 tokens/$20 in my pocket), I smile. LOL. So that'd be about 7 minutes of a private show (or 5 minutes of a true private show). I wish they could be at least 10 minutes.

Just as long as the guy realizes I won't be holding a vibrator over my clit for no damn 30 minutes straight (because that's just insane). ? We could do other things too.

It depends on the model and camsite.

A dollar is a dollar to me, so I'm fine with 1-2 min shows - on certain camsites. They don't negatively affect my bottom line on sites like Skyprivate; or Streamate, where there's usually only 5-10 logged in members watching at most, but if the same were to happen on a token site like CB or MFC, it cuts down traffic by half and ruins the momentum of shows, taking a while to build it up again.

The average show for me on SM is 10 mins, which I'm happy with! It keeps things fresh and interesting, which helps my energy levels, as no two privates are exactly alike, and so if 3 people do a 10-15min show with me per hour, I'm very fulfilled and look back on the hour fondly.

There's also such a thing as being too long ? The longest I ever did was 1.5 hours, and while I had a great time, it's too exhausting to do more than once in a blue moon. Seeing the earnings from it was almost unbelievable and I'm grateful anyone would be willing to spend on such a long private, but no amount of money could make up for the quick burnout it would put me on.

I used to regularly accept prepaid one hour shows for one man in particular. Absolutely great guy, so I felt terrible to explain that I just couldn't do more than 30 mins after doing it so regularly. It would honestly give me anxiety in the hours leading up to the private, even though we got on very well and had great banter/actual mutual masturbation ratio, but I'd have to frequently postpone because I knew how much energy it would take.

So to end this tangent, longer shows =/= more worth it, if anything it's a good way to burn yourself out over the long run as a model.


Members, I don't think you should feel bad or worry. Simply as if they're okay with x or xx amount of mins of private, and if they say yes, it's OK!

5 or more is good. Less then 2 and it's possible I won't accept the request for a private show again in the future. Less than 1 and I'll probably block afterward unless a tip and apology is sent very promptly.
Nothing personal, just business, I'm having my cake and eating it too. I use C2C so I see how fast these guys cum, but if I have a regular or a favorite, or a big spender in my room . . . Then a new guy pulls me for a 47 seconds wank off - I'm not too happy.

I risk losing the guy I wanted in the first place...

When I'm on SM I often have 20-40 guys in my room.
If I have 5-10 it's often serious spenders who I've encouraged to come back, that can last.
I'm not being yanked for a 1 minute and I'm not super happy at a 2 minute either.
Not considering how many clips and cheap Gold shows I offer.

If they know they are going to cum quick, and/or don't have much money then there are always Gold shows or flash tips in free chat on SM.
I definitely don't like being yanked for anything less than 2 mins, and 5 minimum is ideal.
If the User leaves and it doesn't show they had a connection issue, then I block for 1 and less. 2 I'll handle but will reject in the future if I have a Reg or a Favorite hanging down in my room at the same time. I make notes on people who last 2 or 3 that remind me they are nice but to reject them if it's a medium or busy night. Mostly they'll say stuff like; "Nice guy, but only take if slow or bored".

I have no idea the average length. Likely 5-15 now that my rates are good. When my rates were too low I got loads of long 30-45 minutes shows.
Not my thing either, unless it's really, really an amazingly good and unique time. Which does happen sometimes.

Recently i've been having a lot more 5-15min, I haven't had as many long pvt/excl. shows as frequently in comparison to before but usually between 30min, 45min and some 60min+

I don't typically decline any show unless it's a request I am not comfortable doing in that moment however I usually don't give much until after the 30sec-1min mark.
Under 5min isn't an issue for me - a dollar is still a dollar and it all adds up in my opinion but I can understand that it can get a bit tiring for some when they're consistently short shows.

Under 10mins feels super short to me, when I accept pre scheduled shows I don't take anything under 10. If someone from a live platform shows a pattern of repeated shows under 5mins and rushes me through a performance, I don't want to keep them as a client. I'm not for them and they aren't for me. My style is very verbal and interactive. If they are ending it before it has even become fun for me or gotten anywhere, yeah no thanks. The wham bam thank you ma'am wears me out mentally and I do not find it to be worthwhile to take those shows, instead of saving my energy and maybe spending a little longer between a slightly lower quantity but higher quality of sessions.

This is really dependent on the content of the private and the person. My longest private was 2.5 hours long and it was too short for both of us, but it was late and sleep was necessary. I've had privates with some people whereby after just a few minutes, they felt way too long and I was mentally counting down the 10 minutes and regretting having that setting. For the average member who I don't know very well, I think 15-20 minutes minimum is good. For someone who I do know well, I would prefer it to be at least 30 minutes.

No matter how long it is, I really prefer it when a member tells me approximately how long they are wanting it to be and what kind of things they're looking for so that I can tailor the show. Sadly, not many people do this and I often feel rushed and dissatisfied when doing privates with new people.

I have my minimums set to 10minutes, but 8 out of 10 times the users finish sooner and vanish.

I prefer longer shows for roleplays and femdom but for your standard "Wham, Bam, Thank you Mam" -show anything between 5-10minutes is fine.

I think it really depends on the site. For example, I work on a privates-based platform so members rarely tip in free chat, which makes my income rely solely on privates. That's why I don't accept privates that are under 10 minutes. An ideal time for a private (at least from my point of view) is somewhere at 20-something minutes. It's not that much about money, but I don't like getting rushed. There are two things that nobody should rush in this life - sex and marriage.

As a viewer, I've done both short (10-15 mins) and long (1 hour +) privates, but a lot depends on the chemistry with the model, and quite bluntly, how horny I am.
Sometimes it's promptly down to business, and other times it's nice to take time, feel relaxed and maybe tease with edging/denial, or finishing multiple times.
Some chatting can be nice, both before and after the sexual action, but I've never done a full-chat private without some sexual aspect - personal choice, but I think sometimes it can get weird if you move more into a 'friend-zoned regular' situation and then want to get sexual again.
Whenever it's been a longer private, I have made sure the model is happy to do that first. They may be keen to get back to their public goal, or hoping to get another private from a good customer, or tired/sore/needing a break.
