MFC profile soooo stuck

Hi all complete newbie novice here!!
so i have read and read and read every post and sticky on here and i cannot get anything to work!!

I just want to add a few boxes with some text.. about comps, things for sale etc but no where is there a text option.

The css code i cant get my head around and im stuck... any help for a novice!!!

Not sure what you mean by a text option. It sounds like you just want to add some HTML, not CSS. A box with text inside it is done like this:

<div style='border:1px solid black'>Here is some text</div>

Paste that in one of your text sections (like About Me). Change the inline style options to add padding, change colors, etc.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean either. You should add a link to your profile in your signature

I have done some basic things on paint and have the html codes but where on earth do they go??

On the customize all the basic stuff i cant find a text box and the css loses me!!!

Looking in the css for the about me and its not even there!!

The 'About Me' isn't in the CSS section (a.k.a. 'Customize Profile'), it's under 'Edit Profile' and it's in step four, at the bottom of the page, entitled 'More about me/Bio'. Just add whatever text/HTML you want in there, and it'll show up on your profile.

I am such an idiot with this kind of stuff it is embarassing.
I just make photos for everything to get around it. I upload the pictures to imgur & paste the codes to the page four, about me under "customize your profile".
