Yesterday and today I had some strange experiences....
I use MFC for nearly 3 years with nearly no issues....

But yesterday I took a girl private and she started the show and suddenly the private stopped and I got an angry message that there was a security message from MFC saying that I record the stream....??? It was the first private with this girl so I thought she maybe wanted a kind of excuse to cut the private short, actually she banned me straightaway.....
This is the internet and there are plenty of models no point in getting excited , but today I took another girl private and after a couple of minutes the private stopped again, she asked me if I stopped it, but I did not do anything and she did not do anything too...
2 incidents in 2 days just wondering if this security message was just BS from the girl or if MFC is using Premiums as guinea pigs for beta security features ???

Anyone with similar experiences ?

What form did the "security message" take? A pop up? I'm guessing the second incident may have been a coincidence, if you didn't get the message again. Also, if you had really broken some rule, MFC would have banned you most likely.

Btw, were you recording the session?

I did not get any message I was told the model got one, and regarding recording - a private is recorded in my archive anyway, so no point to record it .....maybe I should have mentioned that it was a true private, so no spying or so..

:)

I'd be curious to know more about the message the model got. It doesn't sound like a genuine MFC message, so I have to wonder if it might have been sent by someone pretending to be a site administrator. The things people will do to stir up shit. :(
Private shows will automatically end if either party has an internet connection issue, or if MFC crashes. Either way, it sounds like you have a case of rotten luck, BobbyB.

You were told the model got one? By whom? The model? At any rate, I'm guessing no security message was received by anyone, and she simply wanted to end the private. Strange though.

No, the only security message I got from MFC was related to logging on the site from a different IP. Are you sure those messages come from MFC staff?

Going to leave this here. This is the definitive list of MFC administrators. Messages from anyone else are FAKE and should be reported immediately.

Oh, yeah, I hadn't even thought of that. Some dude in her room, impatient with waiting for her to come back, changes his name to "AbminFred" and PMs her, and she is naive enough to believe it's official.

OK, this is what I got from the model:

======================

I received a security error from the system that you were trying to capture it

I get notified when people stream and capture MY material
===============

No idea if BS or not....

:)

I've never heard of this before, that doesn't mean this isn't legit there is just a chance I have never heard of this but I sense B.S. If there was some sort of way that MFC could detect people capping our shows I'm pretty sure there would be a LOT less MFC recordings floating around. It could be new though I guess! (I just really doubt it.)

There is no way for MFC to detect if you are recording if you are using a program outside the browser. The browser prevents access to the rest of the computer as a security precaution.

This is not always true. I've been disconnected mid private where the model thought I was still connected. Reconnected after several minutes and was unable to enter private because the model was "in private".

Every MFC private is recorded, so that right there tells you how legit the warning would be. I remember a premium was conning models into thinking he could tell when members were recording public shows, I think he charged for his fake services.

Exactly. I once saw a couple of guys trolling the Lounge as "AdnimBob" or something like that. I don't think the system will even let anyone without administrator privileges have the word "admin" in their username. But there are other words (or translations of "admin") that might look pretty convincing to someone who may not be entirely familiar with the workings of MFC.

Did you contact support about this? That would have been my first step. Well, actually, taking a screenshot would have been my first step.

Complete B.S. on her getting message from MFC that the show was being recorded. Coincidence on the loosing connection on the next private.

As someone already mentioned. What would be the point of recording a private show, since they are saved automatically for you?
