I'm pretty stressed about this and wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

MFC offers free DMCA removal through RemoveYourContent. Once you submit your first complaint, the service supposedly begins monitoring the web for your content regularly so you don't have to. I submitted a list of links months ago, and was simply told the site in question "usually ignores DMCA notices". Today I did a search of my name again. I'm everywhere-- as early as my first cam show and as recently as this week-- which means RemoveYourContent was not monitoring my content as promised. I submitted a page of new links and received a very unprofessional, poorly punctuated reply from RemoveYourContent again saying the site "ignores DMCA notices" and "sorry it sucks".

I'm sorry, but don't some models PAY for this same service? If it is widely accepted that these sites ignore DMCA notices and get away with pirating content, then why is anyone paying for these services (some of which cost over $100/month!)? I've also found my watermarked ManyVids content for sale on multiple websites. ManyVids gives each video a "digital fingerprint" and offers the same DMCA removal service through a different company, but I am reluctant to go through the trouble to report it if that's the kind of reply I receive. I copy pasted over 50 links (and that was only a portion of what I found)-- and I am really disappointed to have received "sorry it sucks" in response.

I know we take a risk every time we log on, but this is really disappointing to me. Does anyone have experience with other DMCA removal companies? Is it just a difficult thing to pursue in general? DMCA is a law. It feels to me these companies exist to profit off the exploitation of models, because obviously the law isn't strong enough for these companies to enforce.

Most big search engines will respond to DMCA.
So RemoveYourContent should be able to the pirate websites links to your video removed from google search results.
But yah there are lots of scummy websites. And they really don't care how they make a buck. It's dangerous to go to them. Often they're serving viruses, trying to steel email address from cookies, extra.

And you could spend 40+ hours a week trying to fight piracy. But you'd probable be better off camming for those 40 hours.
You could pay some one 100+ a month. Or you could buy a new laptop at the end of the year.

If people are posting videos to pornhub. You can join their model program, claim the videos. And at least then you get some money from PH from the advertisements.

Still, the guy from mfc dmca easily says "doesn't react" even for sites where I could then get material removed myself. When I sent him proof he got really snappy stating that he has too much to do.

I sent them an email directly through the one listed on mfc, asking them questions about their service (I wanted to know why they, as a 3rd party, needed my legal name). I never got a response. Good to know that they are less than professional.

I'll be the devil's advocate here. Do dmca services even have an interest of taking everything down? What would they get paid for then?

There is one service that I've only heard good things about and that I had some really fruitful conversations personally with (for free) and that's model centro.

This is the dark side of this business! I sticked my nose in this business, try to learn more and was shocked about this practises, but it seems for the portal owners is this business as usual! So here is my call: unite and fight together against this practises, google for court cases, where models fight these unfairly use of their content and try to force the portals to stop this! In this case you models are no competitors! You can find enough evidence by using Google and your computer! You have the force to change! And you can find out more, maybe even about cam portal owners and their story... internet forgets nothing!

ManyVids gives each video a "digital fingerprint"

Sorry to say but that "digital fingerprint" doesn't do shit. Myself and other models have experimented with it, sending ourselves MV Links (on a customer account) and downloading the videos, only to be able to upload them to sites like Pornhub and xVideos (both verified and non verified profiles - also their affiliate/whitelabel sites) without a single issue. I've never heard of it helping others' videos not get pirated, and I've even heard of a model getting her video, on her verified Pornhub profile (before the fingerprint thing came in), that she uploaded herself, removed by Manyvids when they did a rare sweep for pirated content. It wasn't even a re-upload sourced from MV.

DMCA is a law.
It's rough, but have to remind people sometimes that it's a USA law... so sites based outside of the US do not have to comply. Many pirate sites ignore DMCA requests for this reason. It isn't MFC's or RemoveYourContent's fault.

Some models use or pay for these services to limit the amount of pirated content out there, but there is no way to completely wipe it out unfortunately.

Just wanted to say I really acknowledge and relate to your frustration. I remember the first time I received an auto-message from MFC like this i was like.... you can't even spell check? o_O

Your video feeds on Chaturbate and MFC are intercepted , recorded and posted daily. This is unfortunate and I wish both those sites would do more to stop it. You could decide not to use those two sites, but your cam money would seriously be impacted, since they are two of the biggest sites.
