Yep! It's how I got to liking asparagus, corn on the cob, and mayo. It's still not working for brussels sprouts, though. Ick.
Funny enough I LOVE raw oysters, just not on crackers and with a little horse radish and tobasco. Suck it all off, then swallow it with no more than one bite. That is at least my tactic to a belly full of amazing tastiness.
