im camming at a friends house, and i dont wanna cam there anymore cause he wasnt the kindest peson to me, so i decided to buy a temporary internet thing i connect to my computer like a USB thing and a new camara to do it from my temporary home. i sign into mfc normally and it opens up, when i go to cam the page opens normally, but the camara just loads and loads and never shows images... it just stays white!!! please SOS!!! what can i do, i need to get this working cause i dont have any other sort of income. :(

Suggestion #1 is always to try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Suggestion #2 is to email mfc, subject line with "Technical Support needed-" and then put your model name after the - (Mine would be "Technical Support Needed- Model LadyLuna")

Keep your email very specific. Explain that you've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and exactly how everything was working before and how it's not working now.

Random thought: they'll probably ask you to check your firewall and antivirus settings as well.

So, this is what I come up with based on the info you've given me:

(assume you tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and making sure java and adobe flash were both installed in internet explorer and updated completely, and that you have actually done everything I'm about to list, because these are the things they will ask you to do if you haven't already)

"I recently had to switch from stable internet to temporary internet. My camera was working fine before, but now, I just get a white screen when I log in.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both my camera and the internet card. I have checked my firewall and antivirus and they do allow my camera to interact. I have checked the settings in the MFC software and it is still correctly identifying my camera. I have checked the settings of my camera outside MFC, and it works fine. Please help!

Thank you,

(model name)
aka (real name)"

Suggestion #3: verify with Amber to get model status in the forums, and be allowed into the models only section.

Totally unnecessary to include real name. All the other advice was great, though.

When I email support, I like them to know it's really me, cause half the time I fuck up and use the wrong email.

Putting my real name is my way of validating that "yes, this is really me"

Ah yes, a big word of advice is to actually not fuck up and use the email that MFC has as your contact email. :D

Yeah, I fail at that a lot...

I changed which email I use to contact all my mfc fans, and forget that my model email is still listed as the old one x.x
