So I have my girls in Tae Kwon Do class, and it's beginning to become somewhat of a battle getting my girls to practice during the week, especially my youngest. Now I know that it is normal for parents to struggle to get their kids to practice no matter what the extra curricular activity might be. I took piano lessons for years when I was a kid, and it was like pulling teeth for my mom to get me to practice. I hated it. She really did have to force me to practice. Even though I begged to get piano lessons for the longest time, when I finally did, it wasn't long before I was begging to her to let me quit. She told me no, and that I would understand why and thank her when I was older. She was right. I do understand why she didn't let me quit now, and I am very thankful. It taught me not to just quit as soon as things got hard, and it taught me to follow through, even when something became a challenge.
But I do remember, that when I was a kid, every once in a while I'd see a movie that would inspire me, and give me motivation or a renewed interest in playing the piano (as well as other extra curriculars).
So I was hoping to find some movies that I could watch with my kids that might spark a renewed interest in their martial arts.
So does anyone have any recommendations for a martial arts movie that could be inspirational?
Thanks.
