Hey I got banned because a user from my stream tried to use the tos against me and got me banned. I blocked them on instagram and did not break the rules. My account is gracemeow

Summary

I blocked the guy who tried to initiate an off Chaturbate conversation with me. He tried to bait me into getting me banned.
He tried to offer sex services at a good rate in my stream chat. I wanted him to go away so I messaged him hi and a price and my instagram. I proceeded to continue streaming once he stopped commenting (I gave him my info so he would stop) and I blocked him on instagram and didn’t answer their conversation. I never agreed upon said conversation about him paying for sex in real life. Never gave him any info nor did I initiate any form of transaction or payment with him. I just wanted to stream. And my account got banned. I believe it should get reinstated because I never did any transaction with him nor had any conversation outside of that initial contact. I would really love to continue streaming and it won’t happen again. Thank you, gracemeow

- to get them to stop commenting I said hi

They kept pushing me to give my socials and they were the one asking for price

- The hi was to stop them from pestering me
- I ignored them and gave them false joke details so they would stop pestering me on stream
-I continued streaming and ignored them
- I blocked them afterwards on insta and never responded to their messages
- never arranged for any form of transaction or meetup and it was never my intent to
- while streaming, I randomly got banned.


Saw that and I did absolutely nothing against tos, and my actions were to stop them from doing so. I don’t think this is fair on my end cause I only just started streaming and didn’t know about it. I won’t do such stuff in the future and will report them instead of engaging.

Appeal for Account Ban – Misunderstanding Regarding “Pay-Per-Meet” Rule

Hello Chaturbate Support,

I believe my account was banned due to a misunderstanding related to the “pay-per-meet/escorting” rule, and I’d like to clarify what actually happened.

During one of my live streams, a viewer began repeatedly offering to pay me for sex in public chat and asked me to message him privately. To get him to stop harassing me publicly, I briefly replied “hi” in DM so he would stop. He then asked for an amount, and I jokingly said “$800” with absolutely no intention of following through. He then asked for my social media, so I gave him my public Instagram handle.

When he said “talk to you in DM” and “waiting for your reply,” I just responded, “check later,” and immediately returned to streaming. I never messaged him again and later blocked him on Instagram. My intention from the very beginning was only to stop the harassment — not to meet, sell, or offer any type of sexual service.

I also want to note that I’ve publicly shared on my Instagram that I have no interest in meeting anyone or increasing my “body count.” That post explains that when I said “milking sugar papis online,” I meant streaming content only — not real-life encounters. My post makes it clear that I joined Chaturbate for content creation and performance, not for any kind of pay-to-meet activity.


I completely understand and agree with Chaturbate’s rules prohibiting escorting or real-life sexual arrangements. My actions were in line with that policy — I never engaged, never agreed, and immediately blocked the user. My intention and conduct adhere to the platform’s standards, and I will handle any future harassment by reporting or muting instead of replying.

Going forward, I have no intention of messaging or responding to anyone privately unless it’s strictly through approved private calls on Chaturbate. Even then, I will only discuss content-related interactions within the platform’s boundaries. I will not share social media handles or engage outside of streaming in any form.

I’m confident that once the chat logs are reviewed, it will be clear that no violation occurred and my account can be reinstated. Thank you for your time, fairness, and understanding — I look forward to returning to streaming and continuing to follow all platform guidelines closely.

The right play would have been to report the user's messages and then ban the user from your room, especially since the user is just grey.

A common theme I've seen in posts here is that any kind of direct engagement with someone who wants something that is against the TOS has the potential to pull you down with them, so it's better to just cut it off as soon as possible.

I am so obsessed with the block and ban for life option I think it’s the greatest tool to have in every cam site! lots of other sites to stream on while trying to get one back.
