Need Advice – Studio Created My Stripchat Account and Now Refuses to Release It

Hi everyone, I really need some guidance from other models who have dealt with studios before.

A studio helped me create my Stripchat account, but the account is fully verified with my ID and my personal information. Now that I want to work independently, they are refusing to release my account.

They told me they can delete the account, but they won’t hand it over to me, which makes no sense since I’m the verified performer. They are also claiming that according to their “terms,” I am not allowed to work on Stripchat for 12 months if I leave them.


The problem is:

• I never signed a contract, only filled in a simple Google Form.
• The studio isn’t even based in the country where I live.
• They keep 20% of my earnings but offer zero benefits or support.
• I feel like this is straight-up manipulation to keep me under them.

I already contacted Stripchat support with my ID and screenshots, but I haven’t received a reply yet, and I honestly don’t know what the next step should be.

Has anyone gone through something similar?


Can a studio legally block me from using a platform under my own identity?


Any advice or experiences would help me so much right now.

Yes. If you search through this support board, you'll find case after case of models not being allowed to have an independent account because the studio said they don't have permission to make their own account. No point in dwelling on your old account, since your studio has no intention to release you. You will have to wait.

I recommend talking to support immediately to request your ID documents be removed from that studio account. Many studios will purposely have someone else stream from your account to get you permanently banned from the site. SC also will not help you in this situation (tons of examples of that on this forum too). If that happens, you won't be able to stream even after the studio wait time elapses.

Be careful how you make your next moves. Might be good to butter-up to the studio until you get your documents removed.

Thank you for the reaction im glad that support already did request to delete the studio account and that im allowed to make a new one. So I just wait until they delete documents but from the studio account I did delete everything already including all my pics and videos everything. Support did help me very good. never make this mistake again to start with a studio.

I need to tell butter up is not a plan I did ask them very friendly after I did say okay I understand they did block me immediately after.

We take studio violations very seriously, and any studio involved in such activities will receive severe punishment, up to and including complete termination of cooperation with Stripchat.

If you, or anyone else, believes that a studio has deliberately caused harm in any way, please contact your CM: we will participate in the investigation and try to track down what happened.

I do not know the studio names. I only know the models I was knight for that were banned because of things studios did with their accounts like one studio owner putting her child on cam on a models account on her "day off" to get her banned. There are several examples of this on these forums with models dealing with studios.

The models dealt with support attempting to get accounts back .. Some have been gone from SC for a couple years now and work on CB now. There have been a couple that I directed here to try to deal with it to no avail. I have stopped contacting support about any issues with models or tech issues with the site.

I fully believe the studio is punished. But the model is usually permanently banned too, even if it was by no fault of their own. I tagged you in a post earlier (for an example of what I'm referring to) where a studio put a child on the model's cam while she was not there, only to sabotage her account. Both studio AND model were permanently banned.

I've personally had good experiences with the reps here. My issues have been well taken care of. I wasn't trying to imply that support won't ban the studios who deserve it. Just that sometimes innocents get pulled down with them.

It has been too long and the models have moved on to CB or quit completely.

That is fucking stupid for punishing the model for the studios bad behavior .. makes absolutely no sense
