Hi everyone, I really need some guidance from other models who have dealt with studios before.
A studio helped me create my Stripchat account, but the account is fully verified with my ID and my personal information. Now that I want to work independently, they are refusing to release my account.
They told me they can delete the account, but they won’t hand it over to me, which makes no sense since I’m the verified performer. They are also claiming that according to their “terms,” I am not allowed to work on Stripchat for 12 months if I leave them.
The problem is:
Has anyone gone through something similar?
Can a studio legally block me from using a platform under my own identity?
Any advice or experiences would help me so much right now.
Thank you

The problem is:
- I never signed a contract, only filled in a simple Google Form.
- The studio isn’t even based in the country where I live.
- They keep 20% of my earnings but offer zero benefits or support.
- I feel like this is straight-up manipulation to keep me under them.
