Hey all! I am looking into becoming a webcam model, been doing my research online, it seems to good to be true! At the moment i am in a dead end job which i would LOVE to give up, is there really some serious money to be made just by being a webcam model? Sorry i sound like such a noob ha, i look forward to reading feedback x

I am just starting too. It's only been a month or so for me and I did discover it's not as easy as it sounds, but if you can do it and put in a little effort, you can definitely make good money! Which site are you thinking of going with?

Hi there, welcome and stuff. It's awesome that you're doing your research, that's really important in this industry. There's definitely real money in webcam modeling and in lots of cases, there's really good money in it, but it takes time and real effort just like any job. There's tons of things to learn here, so I hope you spend some time reading up and if/when you decide to become a model, get verified here so you can read the more detailed models only info.

Actually the biggest problem for me has been time, I started doing the cam thing so I could quit my other two jobs, but my other two jobs get in the way of putting in the time to make money on cam, so I can quit my other two jobs, ha.

But my advice so far would be, try it first, make sure it's something you can do before you burn any other bridges, and if it is then, you just need to commit to putting in the time and effort to create traffic, if you can do that, you're solid.

Definitely go to the big camsites and watch how different girls work. Think about what style works best for your personality, and what limits you feel you have. Also, please please please consider any future ramifications camming might have for you- relationships, family concerns, being excluded from particular types of jobs, etc. You need to think about the long-term effects of camming before getting naked on the internet.

Yes, what she said! Continue with your research. There is plenty of information here from girls who have done it and failed; girls who have done it and succeeded; and girls who initially failed, then succeeded!
